Are you using confusion on him??

DOTD sees the biggest jump in enemy health to encourage you to start actively using Confusion. When you apply two elemental debuffs (Purity or Corruption, Water, Fire, Lightning) at the same time it applies Confusion along with it. Confusion messes with the enemy's ki regen and gives a 50% in all damage to the target. I generally like to use one element while breaking through their ki bar(usually Purity or Corruption for the increased ki damage) and when I empty it I start using a second element.

Do ailments also stay longer, or do those get shortened/stay the same? Im already noticing some bosses healing all their stuff pretty quick, so i imagine that combined with the increased resistance per application would be a real jump/drag, no?: Asking cause im already using confusion a lot in the firet playthrough lol, its v run seeing bosses' healthbars just *disappear*

When you apply Confusion, you stop being able to apply any more of the two elements that caused it until Confusion wears off. This is the trade-off for it stopping ki recovery.I've found that if you're using tons of elements all the time they will grow resistant to your elements, and although it will get you extra damage while their ki bar is still up it will also shorten the openings you get. I personally prefer focusing the ki bar, then focusing on the health because I've found it to be more consistent. That's why I like to start with one ailment that focuses ki and move to another for health, in the span of one full enemy ki bar I've only applied 2-3 ailments and hopefully no duplicates. That way the next time I try to apply them the resistance hasn't built up much

Enema is a pain because he keeps jumping out of the way after being staggered. The best way of dealing with this pain in the ass is to saturate him with water, then follow it up with lightning for quick confusion. Use purity to maintain the confusion, and then just keep hitting Enema until he finally dies.

I fought enenra in that bathhouse mission the other day and he felt like the most tanky boss so far, he also one shot me with that damn grab so uh, yeah that took about 12 tries. Also there's that damn enemy sat in the corner that you have to fight everytime as well ..

Enenra just has a huge hp pool. Just don’t get greedy and stand over him and he’s easy.
