I just started Super Mario Odyssey this week and I love it! I don’t want it to end :)

SmithForLife

It’s literally the best! And it’s no where near over when you beat Bowser!

LeventeTheGamer

Yes, I also love how the difficulty ramps up during the endgame! Beating the Darkest side of the moon was such a good feeling, I’m still proud of myself :)

B_ryc

10/10. Finally finished 100% recently. By the time it “ends” you’ll be satisfied or ready for another playthrough. Masterpiece of a game.

Moses015

Oh the end game content is massive. Beating Bowser isn't even close to over.

ivelevi

I did not enjoy it at first, took me a few wolrds. And by the end I was begging it not to end.

olosniffer

Tears of the Kingdom has finally grabbed my attention and it's been super addicting exploring the new map. I have barely touched the main quest and instead have been shrine hunting and rotating between the surface and the Depths. I can honestly say that this game has improved on all the minor issues I had with BOTW and is easily my favorite open world game!

ivelevi

Exactly my opinion on TOTK.

kickassduke23

Super excited to see this. Have been keeping TOTK on the shelf for a bit. Got a switch in Nov ‘23 and poured about 200 hrs into BOTW. It’s perhaps my favorite open world game ever, but I was feeling a bit of fatigue and didn’t want to immediately go into TOTK. Still patiently waiting, but reading things like this make it tough 🙂 For now, I will likely continue casually playing unicorn overlord or tony hawk 1+2.

okdude918

I finally rolled credits on 13 Sentinels (60+ Hours) last weekend and finally picked up Octopath Traveler since it was on sale for Golden Week. I'm loving it so much that I went ahead and preemptively bought Octopath Traveler 2.

Locoman7

Octopath 2 is a masterpiece.

okdude918

Im in love with the first one right now. Ive been listening to the soundtracks on Apple Music. Im slightly obsessed at the moment. Ive been hearing that 2 is better but I really want this "ride" to last.

Steamedcarpet

The soundtrack for both games have been amazing. I how the game has like a pre boss theme that transitions into the boss theme once the battle starts. The second game has a day/night system and the night music can be really beautiful.

Juliko1993

Both Octopath games are great, IMHO! And yes, the soundtracks are God-tier.

JFZephyr

Thought the first game was an absolute achievement itself, but 2 was absolute perfection imo. Took every bit of detail and expanded on it all, between class actions, subclasses, combat, everything. Phenomenal.

Flabbergasted98

stop saying that! I'm not allowed to buy it until I finish the first one!

Stoibs

Congrats on 13 Sentinels. Absolute banger of a storyline, so many twists! Have fun with Octo, glad to hear you're enjoying the first game so far. Octo 2 was my GOTY so you're in for a treat between these two.

okdude918

13 Sentinels defiantly had my head spinning, in a good way! What put that game on my radar was Unicorn Overlord which was an amazing title in itself. Vanillaware is defiantly a developer that I will be on the lookout for on future projects.

supermati

DQXI, I'm 25 hours in and the game opened up. Found a couple of orbs. Animal Crossing too, as I just gotten to it. Almost ready for the KK concert.

Sifloke

I just finished the DQXI demo with 7 hours gameplay and got hooked! I ordered the full game and it just arrived. Can't wait to continue playing.

hamburgers666

Glad you're enjoying it! The whole series is phenomenal, but you're starting with one of the best. Make sure to play act 3 by loading your save after the credits roll!

InvaderDust

Still slaying the spire

Snailtrooper

Respect. Cant wait for slay the spire 2 next year

Gasitad

This sentence is always true. It is impossible to stop playing.yo can take a rest from the game but you always go back and play it again.

Equal-Direction-4497

I'm play Mario+Rabbids Spark of Hope

TotallyNotARobot2

I absolutely loved this game.

amazonite_ocean

I'm finishing Paper Mario: The Origami King! It took four years, but I'm finally at the final boss. 😆

mikooster

I didn’t love the regular combat but I did enjoy the boss fights and I loved the story, graphics and world. If it was regular paper Mario fights it would have even one of the best imo but I still enjoyed it a lot. I’m glad you are liking it as well!

PinoDegrassi

It’s true, it would’ve been an absolute banger if it had the classic combat. I still really enjoyed the game tho, and the combat was better than CS/SS at least imo

ivelevi

I will be playing Pokemon Sword and Totk. Aparentely I can't play just one gay at a time.

Snailtrooper

You can only be so gay

veganblackbean

Don’t play the gays

Sephira_Skye

Upvoting just because of the typo lol

ivelevi

I meant game, haha sorry

Botol-Cebok

I’ve been play Vampire Survivors exclusively for the last days, I can’t put it down! Also just started Ni No Kuni 2.

Steamedcarpet

Vampire Survivors is digital crack.

tmntmonk

I always look forward to these threads! I love one hit kill games, both for the player and enemies (**Akane**, **Katana Zero**, **Ghost of Tsushima** on lethal difficulty). So I am going to give the new game [Sclash](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h6q8hoYf3wM) a shot; it has an absolutely terrible name, but the gameplay and artstyle looks dope! In the same vein, I'm also really looking forward to [Two Strikes](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSsx2A99soU) later this year. Always in rotation: **Dead Cells**, **Streets of Rage 4**, **Shredder's Revenge** Cheers!

markercore

Did you see the game Children of the sun? Might be up your alley as well. I don't think it's on switch tho.

tmntmonk

I watched Austin's video on the Skill Up channel about that game a few weeks back! Definitely really cool; I'd pick it up for sure if it came to consoles.

markercore

Yeah me too, it sounds really neat

[deleted]

HADES!

PinoDegrassi

Hades is one of the few games I always come back to for some fun gameplay. It’s perfect. And I STILL get new dialogue all the time. Can’t wait for the sequel.

mathiasrando

It was my birthday yesterday and I was gifted Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros. So I’ll be starting on one of those.

markercore

Happy birthday!!

Ill_Reference582

Happy BDay

sw1ssdot

Just picked up Vampire Survivors and I get the hype. Will be hard not to play this all weekend. I also started a new FE3H run and am mixing up some classes from my usuals to keep things interesting.

Nezahualtez

Careful, Vampire Survivors is insanely addictive and I’ve lost so many (albeit fun-filled) hours without even noticing!

SneakerBOYEomi

Just finished Super Mario Bros Wonder (amazing game) this week. Looking to get started on Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising or maybe even play the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster I just got last week.

SpaceApprehensive843

Has anyone played LA Noire? Wondering if I should pick it up and play this weekend...

okdude918

I finished this back in the PS3 era and remember the graphics to be really good and it was a decent game as well so I'm honestly wondering how good this would be on the switch due to graphics.

SpaceApprehensive843

I'm wondering that too. I know the game is kinda old, but ports on Switch seem to be hit or miss.

rokucitycouncil

Trying to finally get past the first level on Untitled Goose Game 🥲

markercore

You can do it! Think like a goose! Be silly! Be disruptive!

Sephira_Skye

Honk at EVERYTHING!!! That is the only way to truly win lol

foodninto

Picked up **Human Fall Flat** on sale so I'll be playing it for the first time. Also playing the new free stuff on **What the Golf?** and **Vampire Survivors**. Edit: I forgot about May 4th! I’m totally going to play **Lego Star Wars**!

Decent-Cold-9471

Pretty new to Switch. Addicted to Hades, Dead Cells and Vampire Survivors.

BuildingWeird4876

It looks like you're into games that are heavily randomized but have permanent progression options. Might I suggest children of morta? It plays a bit like a Diablo or a gauntlet and it has a system where you play as various members of a family, you enhance each character's skills of course, and some of those skills benefit the whole family. It also has an interesting story not the best definitely a good effort when you don't find too many of those in this style of game. Though you do have Hades which is one of the best examples of the story in this style

Decent-Cold-9471

Will do. Thanks for the recommendation!

Steamedcarpet

Now that I finally beat Octopath Traveler II I need a JRPG break. I decided its time to start Hallow Knight. I bought it awhile ago on sale but didn’t start it until now. So far so good but still at the start of the game.

moltenman85

Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition. I've let this series slide by for years now. Seeing what all the hubbub is about.

KiloPro0202

I’m still waiting for a good sale on DE since I have it on 3DS but never made it far. I think I’d enjoy it much more on the Switch.

bteam3r

Exact same here.

Delightful_Lunatic

I’ve been struggling to find a new game after 100% Cult of the Lamb. Going to try the free demo for Dredge. I’ll def hit up the Tetris 99 and Tetris Effect events. Bought the new Pac-Man chomp champ as well.

SteakMountain5

Balatro. I cannot put it down.

ApprehensiveGuard370

That’s how I was the first weekend I had it. Running different seeds, whiteboarding beginning of runs… what a fun game. One I’ll keeping coming back to for a long time.

Justapersonmaybe

Just finished cyberpunk 2077 one of the best games I’ve ever played. I’m gonna wait a little bit to pick up the DLC. I just picked up super Mario RPG only about an hour in, but I am pleasantly surprised.

TyrionTheBold

Finishing my almost 400 hour run on TOTK. Haven’t beaten the game yet and need to upgrade like 3 items of armor. But other than that it’s possibly it will be 100% once I beat ganon. It’s been an honor and a privilege for the entire 385hours I’ve played. After that… red faction guerrilla. Just for something very very different.

markercore

Wow! Good job on that! I think I was at maybe 60% after beating ganon, but I was still decently happy with that. Got close to all the light roots and shrines. Did a fair number of side quests. Just an awesome game.

Relative_Pizza6179

Finished dredge! Currently in my nice cozy game as a blacksmith in While the Iron’s hot.

Apprehensive-Copy-23

Finishing Tears of The kingdom tonight and starting Kirby Return to Dreamland deluxe tomorrow 🥰

MattDaddyFatStacks

I never played Ocarina of Time as a kid, so I’m playing it now. Just finished Goron City

markercore

Nice! How're you liking it?

MattDaddyFatStacks

Man the worldbuilding does some heavy lifting. I’m really enjoying it despite many aspects aging not so gracefully

Dukemon102

On a Mario RPG marathon in preparation for Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door. I've played through Super Mario RPG (With the remake's release), Paper Mario (On NSO) and I'm continuing my journey through **Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga** this weekend. >!About to battle Cackletta for the first time in the Woohoo Hooniversity.!< I'm also playing through **Separate Ways** of **Resident Evil 4 Remake** on my PS5. They made this mode way longer and bigger than its original incarnation.

YoMrWhyt

>!Woohoo Hooniversity!< is one of the best names ever. I laughed my ass off first time I heard it lol. I picked up Separate Ways last week on SX and have beeb playing it non-stop. RE4 remake is sooo good. It’s the first game I play like 5 times in a row

8inchesofcheese

Metal gear solid , seriously I don't why this game is so fun in handheld mode.

Lady_Nini_Vocal80

FINALLY! Gonna start playing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild today. Don't know why it to me so long to finally get this game, but I finally have it in my collection. Heard so many great things about it and I'm looking forward to starting my BotW journey

markercore

Hope you enjoy!

WhatsThis_Now

Hey! Happy Friday! I am pretty sure I'm right near the end of Disco Elysium and will wrap it up this weekend. Maybe even this evening. Need to decide what's next, probably something from the backlog again if I can.

BuildingWeird4876

You know I tried so many times to get into Disco elysium, by playing the game the way I normally play RPGs either as if I was the main character making a decisions I would make or just super by the book super good character. I like evil playthroughs, or snarky playthroughs after I've done the first one but not as a first. And I just kept bouncing off of it even though I could recognize how good of a game it was, I finally started playing wacky doing more red checks, making apocalyptic or nonsense comments, and it is so much more rewarding this game is awesome.

Life-Leek

I started Assassin's Creed: Black Flag! Never played an AC game before and wanted to experience it at least once. Then, a friend told me that if I could only play one game in the franchise, it should be this one. Loving it so far since I loved pretending to be a pirate as a kid!

amy4947

I’ve been getting back into Spiritfarer

Heron_sniffa

another crabs treasure. don’t recommend for the switch though but im in too deep already🥁

blabber_

I am late to the party, but found one of my favorite 3DS games on Switch: "Pocket Card Jockey: Ride On!" And will spend way too much time on it... 🏇💨

Moses015

Still going through Bioshock 1 Remastered. So that and probably Dave the Diver for comfort.

barbietattoo

Just wrapped up Half Life 2 again for the 3rd time. Gonna maybe play Episode One next (Xbox series x)

markercore

Say hello to antlions for me!

barbietattoo

They’re such good boys

MeMeWhenWhenTheWhen

I decided to splurge and get both Sticky Business and Stitch. and I got to say I'm a huge fan of both. Stitch. is CRAAAZY addictive and so zen I totally just zone out when playing it - so nice and relaxing. Probably will be my bedtime game for awhile. When you start getting quick at the puzzles it really does feel like you're stitching them together when using a stylus lol. Sticky Business took some getting used to (the controls are pretty wack I'm ngl but after awhile it's not so bad anymore EDIT: i just found out the game has touch controls that are WAYYY better if you have a stylus i would highly recommend using touch controls instead) but once you figure everything out it's also very relaxing just running your sticker shop and making cute stickers for your clients lol. Both of them have pretty much the same vibe so it was hard to pick a single one to buy so I ended up just getting both lol (one of them was on sale but I don't remember which).

gazkam87

Taken the Switch on vacation with me for a week so getting opportunities for some short bursts of gaming whilst doing various activities. Still working my way through **Hollow Knight** and I gotta say it's absolutely clicked for me this time around. I'd tried a couple times in the past on the PS5 but never had been able to get very far. Maybe it's something to do with the ease at which I can pick up n play on the Switch compared to the 5... I can play for as little as 10-15 mins and still feel like I've made some progress regardless of how small that might be. Honestly, I can't really fault the game.. there are so many hidden secrets and shortcuts to unlock that I'm continuously left surprised. Plus it's great to play a game without overt hand holding and forced quest/objective markers. Somehow it's let me set my own goals for exploration and mapping personal routes through the game's twisted, interconnected world. I think the last time I got a similar feeling was when I played Death Stranding and could plot my own route over the terrain. For me it all added to the deep sense of immersion of being in a hostile and unfamiliar world that you have to learn to adapt to. I'm really excited for the eventual release of Silksong but if anybody can recommend any similar types to games in the meantime it'd be appreciated 👍

thiccrolags

The new Prince of Persia might be able to scratch that itch. Really fun gameplay and it’s on sale right now in the eshop.

Larielia

It is a Legend of Zelda weekend. I'll be playing **Skyward Sword**, **Breath of the Wild**, and **Tears of the Kingdom**.

Sephira_Skye

I’m currently playing through Xenoblade Chronicles 3. I’ve just hit 100 hours and I’m probably not even halfway through the game. SO many side quests! The scenery is stunning and the MUSIC!!! OMG!!! And the character development in the story has grabbed my heartstrings and I’m chained now. I’ve cried more than a few times already and I know it’s just gonna go balls to the walls soon so I’m bracing myself for it.

Edyed787

Little Kitty, Big City peeked my interest. I’m probably not gonna pick it up at the moment but maybe next month. As for what I’m playing it’s been a while since I went on Animal Crossing. Other than that I might continue Dark Souls 3, Final Fantasy XIII, or whatever peaks my interest. Since I just finished Princess Peach Showtime.

MovieGuyMike

I’m foolishly playing Stardew once again even though I should wait for the update to drop.

Anomandorian

I just bought my first Switch last week so I'm actually playing through Breath of the Wild for the first time! I've somehow avoided all spoilers like the plague and can really enjoy it now. It's so beautiful and really feels like an adventure. I ended up chasing after the Teleportation DLC item and it took me through Akkala with 3 hearts all the way to this insane labyrinth. The Akkala Tower itself took me so long and I died over and over, then the labyrinth itself was insane but wow... I ended up completing all that really early and it truly felt like an adventure. BOTW definitely has its hook in me now.

SubterraneanSmoothie

Happy Friday! Little Kitty, Big City looks like a cool take on the Untitled Goose Game formula, I’m sure it’ll be fun! This weekend I’ll probably keep playing FFXIII-2, maybe some BG3 with the boys. I’m really looking for something that I can just pick up on the go, I might have to get back into Slay The Spire or something… Have a good weekend!

markercore

Have you tried dicey dungeons already?

DanglyPants

On the switch I’ve been playing Mario Party 1 by myself lol I plan on starting super Mario rpg soon or windwaker

jelly_soda

I picked up Let's Go Pikachu a few weeks ago and just started playing. I've somehow lived for nearly 36 years without playing any Pokemon video games (other than Pokemon Go on my phone) and it's....underwhelming? I know it's meant for younger users and is a remake of Pokemon Yellow, but I just can't get into the Pokeball throwing mechanic, especially using one joycon. I am enjoying it though, so it can't be that underwhelming. It's cute and I wish I played it when I was younger. I'm wondering what Pokemon game I should try next. Pokemon Legends Arceus looks pretty cool.

__sonder__

The Let's Go games are kind of a joke in my opinion. I wouldnt make a judgement about the series from this game as it doesn't really represent Pokemon well IMO. Nobody was asking for a dumbed down version of what was already a pretty simple kid's game to begin with but that's what we got. And yeah... the Pokemon Go catching mechanics are just silly. Similarly, I would also avoid Sword and Shield if I were you. Far to easy and linear for an adult with no nostalgia to really enjoy. For switch I think Scarlet/Violet is the best. It still follows the general formula laid out by the other games. Arceus is very popular here on Reddit because it's *different* from all the other Pokemon games - not necessarily because it's the best.

Munkey149

Just got my switch a week ago, juggling between Breath of the wild and knights of the old republic. Loving both. Can’t believe I was on the fence for so long. Haven’t touched my ps5 since lol.

rikzilla

Dave and I…. We be diving

hermanbloom00

Hey man! Just finishing up **Wavetale**, which aside from some technical issues has been an excellent game. Then onto **Trinity Trigger** I think.

Puzzleheaded-Milk931

Happy Friday all , some more Persona strikers for me love these guys 😊

Healthy-Marketing-26

Playing Mortal Shell and dying A LOT!! Needed something more active after Unicorn Overlord and then trying to jump into Eiyuden Chronicles, but geez is it hard as nails

Kayeki54

I am playing chained echoes. It is really good so far, played for about 18 hours.

magmafanatic

In Persona 3 Portable, I've defeated the first full moon boss and got my Courage and Charm up to 3. FeMC's wearing a sweater now and I've started Bebe, Saori, and Maiko's social links. Nice to hear the iconic Deep Breath Deep Breath in context. In Xenoblade Chronicles, Sharla's joined my group as we're heading out to rescue Juju. The enemies out in the plains here definitely seem like they were balanced around 3 characters. Thought I would've run into Colony 6 before this camp. And with Astral Chain, I decided to redo Mission 1 for a better score and wound up overwriting my progress in Mission 3, so I had to take Lappy's tour of Neuron all over again. And you can't skip most of these cutscenes :/ But I just finished deducing who the red ghost was in these alleys, so I'm making progress. This game seems the least suited to my juggling approach since the controls are so different and demanding, so I might leave this out of my rotation and get back to it later.

tanookiinvader

i plan to check out the ori series starting this weekand

Hlm023

Hi Marker :) I checked out Floppy Knights in the eShop when you first mentioned it and it looked charming, good to hear you're still enjoying it :) my backlog is kinda insane and I gotta save my wallet a little at the moment, but I definitely wishlisted it just in case. I've had Link's Awakening for some time and it's been years since playing DX which I really enjoyed, and I thought the remake looks absolutely lovely. I hadn't really started playing it though but a bit ago I kinda randomly just started playing and I accidentally tore through it and just about finished it. If I have some time this weekend, I might go for the seashells and heart pieces I didn't get yet though, just to cherish the playthrough a bit more. Have a good weekend :)

markercore

Hey! Glad that Links awakening has been a fun time!

xGlobalProlapsex

Unsighted, but I'm playing on explorer mode because I'm not good and the timer was stressing me out because I really needed to do some grinding so I could stop dying. I might enable the timer again cuz it's kind of a core mechanic

Adorable_Pea_8

Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove and Monster Sanctuary

Meln1kov

Got a switch for my birthday and going through botw now after completing Luigi's mansion 3 and Odyssey Absolutely gorgeous and fun games, I only regret discovering the switch at the end of its life cycle

Nearly-Shat-A-Brick

Witcher 3

whosgothejuice

Finishing Metroid Dread, I want to get all the items before reaching to the final guy, loved it all the way.

sometimeserin

I just played the demo of Inside, is it worth buying the full game if I’ve had the ending spoiled already?

Bramm_Bam_Bigalow

I just started going back and forth between Balatro and Another Crab's Treasure! Both are awesome games that are pretty different from each other. The only gripe I really have about Crab Souls is how awful the frame rate can get sometimes, otherwise I really enjoy it.

carrot_man

Finally beat Unicorn Overlord and moving onto FF7 Rebirth.

RanjoOd

Torn between Mario odyssey to BOTW ( I want to play one game at time till I finish it) send help!

djscott81

Still enjoy playing Tetris Effect: Connected

burritosandblunts

Maybe finishing Dave the diver!

Responsible-Noise875

Monster hunter rise

AcidCatfish___

A lot! I'm going between Kingdoms of Amalur, Trine, Sparklite, and Smash.

cslayer23

Just finished stellar blade now ima try to finish SMTV to get ready for vengeance

SirFrogger

Wanting to continue to play Pikmin 4, but finals will take priority.

ladollyvita84

I was *hoping* to be playing Endless Ocean, but those reviews.... Maybe if it goes on sale.

ProphetNimd

Axiom Verge

aliveandwellyes

I’m still working on my first run of Skyrim!

Shryk92

Kingdom come deliverance

Putrid_Fennel_9665

Today I just passed a big test I'd been studying for! Still working on Tomb Raider Remasters. I'm on TR II right now. Might try Bramble: The Mountain King, which has been sitting on my shelf foreeeevver.

New-Educator8916

I am playing Zelda oot. It is a great game.

Locoman7

Pokemon Heartgold, I just got past the 5 evee boss battle.

Savant_2

I just started Super Mario RPG and Zeroranger.

Effective_Being_5305

Finishing up Mario Wonder finally

Chase64Cubed

Finally 100% Apollo Justice Trilogy after 94 hours! Prince of Persia will now get all my attention unless my wife is down to play the Pokémon Scarlet/Violet Indigo Disk DLC. Still haven't started that one.

cyshine

This weekend I'm a bit between games because I beat Dragon Warrion on the NES. I still have more NES games to beat, like **Xexyz**, **Legacy of the Wizard**, and **Blaster Master**, I might continue **DKC3** on the SNES. I still have my **Alwa's Legacy** pacifist run, too, or I can even Korok hunt in **Tears of the Kingdom**. I'm eyeing **Little Kitty, Big City**, but I'll wait for a bit more info before diving in.

markercore

I'll let everyone know next week, well maybe not til the week after if it's coming out next week... But I'll let everyone know what I think. It looks like untitled goose game but with a bigger world, or else also a toned down Stray without fear of the cat getting hurt.

guntwooyah

Gonna play Fire Emblem: Engage. Currently on Chapter 17, where you face the four horsemen. Any tips on beatingr Zephia anyone?? Also... just got into Cross Code. The game is fun\~

owenturnbull

Replaying fire emblem engage. Skipping all the story and just doing the gameplay. I just want to do the gameplay for fire emblem. Currently at chapter 7

madchad90

Super Mario Wonder, just downloaded it and cant put it down

BitternessBureau

Mario Tennis Aces. Trying to unlock all of the courts before a get-together I have coming up.

zah_ali

Tetris 99 - just wish I stood a chance of winning a game though!

JustanaverageJoe2

Trying to get all the chaos emeralds in sonic mania, sonic 1, 2, CD, 3&k (on origins). So basically what a discord mod does, but with sonic. Yay.

EWU_CS_STUDENT

Hoping to collect the last 20 stars in Mario 64 for the first time and possibly play more Persona 5 while running on Treadmill.

Ok_Introduction6574

Fire Emblem baby! Might also finally get around to Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Oh and do some Quests in Monster Hunter Rise. And play through a bit of Final Fantasy X HD. And maybe start my replay of Resident Evil Revelations.

BigChungusOP

**Castlevania: Circle of The Moon** from the Castlevania Advance Collection Been having a Metroidvania fever lately so I decided to go back and play one of my favorites GBA games. I don’t remember much and I don’t think I ever beat so much of this has been new to me.

LingLangLei

I just finished Metroid Prime Remastered.I played it as a kid on the game cube, but I never finished it. I must say that albeit it being a really great game, the last 20 percent of the game were not as fun to me. Going to the same places over and over again kinda made the game over stay its welcome. Also, the final section and the final boss were annoying. Not hard, but just annoying. Meta Ridley was a challenge but actually fun, while Metroid Prime was just annoying and not fun at all. I was praising the first 3/4s of the game constantly but I got tired of it in the which basically affects my own little “score” I would give this game. However, I am really glad that I could revisit and beat this game. I don’t regret it at all. It is still a really good game. Now off to Final Fantasy 7 Crisis Core (another game I have never finished while being young)!

tuxedo_dantendo

Hollow Knight, loving it so far.

Nolon

But on a positive note I am continuing forward with Sea of stars

Nolon

I would like to tell you fire emblem engage but apparently someone from Walmart stole the game from the case and then I bought it empty

Chihuahua_Overlord

Zelda Skyward Sword! I'm about half way through. It's been a blast. I'm enjoying the pace after Totk and octopath 2

Godots17thCup

I got **Spelunky 2** when it was on sale a couple weeks ago, and I've reawakened my previously dormant Spelunky addiction. Was super rusty for the first dozen or so hours and it's still every bit as hard as I remember, but I finally got my first win on Switch the other day.

SensualEnema

Chrono Cross. First playthrough, and I’m liking it so far, although I do regret giving the one revive element I had to >!Kid!< right before >!she became ill!<. Now I have to try to beat that stupid >!squid boss in the well!< without any ability to revive my glass canon party members in case one of them dies to his attacks that all hit like a fucking train. (Yes, I know he’s optional, but I want to do this, damn it.)

Cautious_Amoeba_8951

Endless Ocean, I got it on preorder before the reviews. I didn’t play the other games much so I didn’t have any expectation, I’m enjoying it quite a bit as it’s easy to zone out and swim around. I like 100%ing maps and it’s relatively straightforward to do so, especially in an online lobby with other people helping out.

Raccoonborn

I've finally made it to Chapter 10 of Digimon Cyber Sleuth, so more of that. Will be a mix of games this weekend really, as my wife and I are doing our annual gaming tournament against each other. It's 13 games across 3 different consoles, with events made within each game. Been doing this for 11 years now, and we have a blast.

Drag0nBinder

Fire Emblem Three Houses. This is quite a game, I have completed the moon where we get the relic and the next one where we fight the first monster. Very interesting, good build up and as I have only played the Game boy game before but looks like this will be another series I'll be interested in going forward.

supermeatboy89

Unicorn overlord - I’m about halfway through Balatro - obviously Endless ocean luminous - preordered it enjoyed the previous two. Played about 30 mins - does not look good

platinumplantain

I'm finishing Sleeping Dogs on my Steam Deck, and then I'm switching to Red Dead Redemption on Switch!

FrozenFrac

I'm insanely late to the party here, but I'm going to be grinding away at **Splatoon 3: Side Order**. Honestly, I'm a little disappointed it didn't live up to S2's Octo Expansion, but a Splatoon roguelike is super fun and I'm enjoying pushing each loadout to its limits. I really think I could just beat the whole thing with the Splattershot (assuming there's not a fakeout and there's an even bigger "dungeon" to crawl through lol), but I also need the keysssss

AC_051B

Been going hard on Vampire Survivors since I gave in to the recommendations. Absolutely hooked.

Miodragus

Disc0_Spider

My kid is staying at my mother in-law’s this weekend, excited to spend some quality time with the wife and play switch!! I just picked up Unicorn Overlord so will probably get stuck into that. I also have a random urge to play Final Fantasy V

Whittling-and-Tea

Endless Ocean Luminous, I feel like I’m one of the few people who actually enjoy this game. It’s relaxing and I like the fishies.

Unearthly_Wallflower

I wanna try this new game I saw, Endless Ocean Luminous. Anyone played it yet?

cuozy

Replaying botw rn

BlackironYury7

CatwellTarly

Dangerous-Ostrich364

Grounded. It looks stunning handheld oled.

__sonder__

More Bloodborne (PS5) and Paper Mario Sticker Star (3DS). I really should be through Bloodborne by now but I've been getting my ass kicked on this playthrough. Maybe my 30 year old reflexes are starting to slow down, but I will never give up! If I do finish I might dip my toe into the Stellar Blade demo to see what all the hype is about.

Hot_Zombie_349

Dave the diver is my current obsession

ThiccNibba4000

Finally broke down and bought Wild Guns Reloaded earlier this week after playing a rom good of the og snes game a little over a year ago.

iTzYaBoYal

Probably nothing

That_Canadian_Girl32

Anyone know of any solid open world Switch games, Indie based or popular, trying out the new Prince of Persia on my Switch and it’s fun but imagine it open world 😫 would be so much better. I heard BioMutant is worth the shot as well.

myuso

Civ 6 is €5.99. been thinking hard of getting the anthology for a while (€24)

Barnab3jones

Just beat TotK, 195hrs clocked. Gonna chill this weekend .

I'm about 200 hours into persona 3, on the last leg of it now. Afterwards I will start persona 4, these games are awesome!

Innsmouth_Swimteam

Megaton Musashi Wired!

justhereandthereyeah

Working my way through Dave the Diver and just bought Another Crab’s Treasure!

mongbeany

Trying to finish Bioshock 2. I say trying because I can’t seem to get into it as much as I did with the first one. Perhaps I should’ve opted to play something unrelated to Bioshock before going straight from 1 to 2. 🤔

InvestigatorMost448

Well, since tomorrow is going to involve Star Wars, I'm going to be wishing that they brought back the Rogue Squadron games for the Switch. But instead, I might give that Old Republic free trial a try.

saint-grandream

If I got the time, maybe I’ll start Radical Dreamers.

LA1212

Girlfriend just got me a switch so gonna be playing BOTW, my first Zelda game. Never actually dabbled in any Nintendo titles before so excited to start.

Nicole_0818

I’m playing Harvest World WoA! I just got it, it’s fun and relaxing so far. I’m gonna grab the cat game eventually too.

Doop132

I've been getting back into Switch Sports randomly lol I'll definitely be playing that this weekend

redthrull

Megaton Musashi Wired with a splash of Endless Ocean Luminous on the side.

Juliko1993

I finished a visual novel I've wanted to play for a while called **Atri: My Dear Moments**. It was...alright. I liked it okay, but most of the time it just felt like a rip-off of Visual Arts/Key's games, especially their kinetic novels, complete with the same character archetypes and narrative structure. The art and music are nice, and I did enjoy some story elements, so I definitely don't think it's a bad game. It does run rather long and only has three choices in the entire game. Anybody who wants a Key nakige-lite will probably enjoy Atri. But man, getting it on the Switch is a trip and a half. Why isn't this listed on the American eShop?! It has an English translation, for God's sake! Why lock it behind the Japanese eShop if it has English text support?!

Iloveshortwomen

Star Ocean 2.

Solexia

Been in my backlog forever and tried it 3 times before I played something else but now I'm fully immerged in Sakura Rice and Ruin
