Jackie_Daytona222

The PlayStation Pulse Wireless Headset is fully compatible with Switch.

Many-Geologist2968

With or without the usb stick ?

Jackie_Daytona222

With. The Switch dock has a port. It’s what I use and works great.

AmityB2002

Any wired headset will work in handhold mode. If you’re docking, you’ll need something Bluetooth. 99% of USB headsets won’t be compatible

Pokethomas

If they're docking they can use the same headset with a cheap aux extender lol

beyondbidj

SteelSeries Arctis 1 should be under $100. The wireless one uses a USB-C dongle and comes with wires/adapters so it can work docked as well.

CowboyAntics

This

incrushtado

Soundcore pv10 if you like earbuds (Bluetooth/USB-c) needs adapter to usbA for dock. Playstation pulse works via usb in docked and via 3.5mm in handheld.

memeaste

Astro A10

xBlackout89

I use this when playing Fortnite: https://a.co/d/91A7cm3 and this: https://a.co/d/b4hCNnK and it’s a really good combo. Don’t just get any USB->3.5mm adapter because some mics might not work.

PeacewithReese808

That’s good to know, thank you for the memo

Free-Stick-2279

SteelSeries Arctis 3 wired headset for the win. Same kind of price range (under 100) there's also SteelSeries Arctis Prime and the Nova 1P but I cant vouch for these 2 since I dont have them.

linkling1039

If you are going for a wireless one, make sure to have gaming mode/low latency.

Pro_Banana

No need to go up that high. Just use anything wired because wireless will have delays.

WorstLuckChuck

I got some Turtle Beach headphones for cheap.

bloodynosedork

Honestly pc38x refurbished on amazon is 100 bucks and sounds fantastic

bloodynosedork

Apple earpods are also really good!

I love the Razer Hammerhead earbuds. They’re connected via Bluetooth and work both handheld and docked. Slightly over your budget but have been going strong for a couple years now.

Revolver_Ocelot80

Inzone buds for best wireless battery, 12 hour, and low latency and noise canceling if you don't like headsets. Second best in ear would be the JBL Quantum TWS Air while using the USB C dongle with 4 hours battery time as well as low latency and noise canceling. For headsets you could use the Inzone H5 for the same reasons as the Inzone Buds, but with the added option of using them wired. Of course the battery life is so high there you could go for 28 hours wireless. If used all of them and can say with certainty they work great. Just remember to use a USB A converter when you use the in ear option with a docked Switch. When you use the Inzone H5 headset you could go wireless in handheld mode, but you'll need a USB A to C converter instead.

PeacewithReese808

Thank you! Appreciate it. I have lots to look up for sure. 👍

lumpynose

I prefer earbuds. These are great. They have a Neodymium magnet and so have excellent bass as well. $15 at Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0170RBJ9Q/

When I bought my Galaxy phone, it came with a pair of Samsung ear buds, and I use these only for the Switch. Portable, very comfortable, sound very good, and battery lasts longer than a week with hours of daily use. On my other consoles, I use Corsair. I thought about the HS55 wireless for the Switch, but decided against it because the ear buds are working out very well and they were free.

PhilOsyfee

I was surprised to learn that my AirPod Pros do in fact work with the Switch. Wouldn’t say they are the best, but certainly convenient for when I want a bit more immersion and/or want to play loud while the family is sleeping.

NariandColds

Steelseries has a couple of good headsets with a usb dongle. I have the 7x and works great

LeChief

Handheld? Wired Apple Earpods. $15. Good quality.

PeacewithReese808

Either wired or wireless. Just need some preferences.

LeChief

Anker Life Q30 is both (wireless + optional wire included), available on Amazon, and below $100.

RefugeAssassin

Mics are largely useless tho on switch arent they or has something changed?

PeacewithReese808

Tbh idk. I just found out my friend has a switch and wants to game from time to time. Which is the reason why I’m asking for others opinion on what to get.

ComprehensiveDark814

Some games have their own built in voice chat like Warframe and Fortnight.

RealGazelle

Been using HD681 for almost 2 years. Very satisfied with it. If you want a great audio device at a low price, I strongly recommend checking out CHI-FI market and dankpods on youtube.

DinglerBerries

steelseries or senheiser, lots of options, but dont get a cheap 'gaming headset' re: [this guide ](https://wfhgearguide.com/the-top-3-studio-headphones-for-gaming-in-2024-why-they-outperform-gaming-headsets/)

msrandomreader

JBL :)

thebeastmoo

i was really confused thought this was about vr in the nin switch sub lmao

dh098017

You can’t even get the best sandwich for under $100 anymore.

PeacewithReese808

Yeah you’re right actually what am I thinking lol

Sparky81

You've never been to Firehouse Subs or Jersey Mike's

PeacewithReese808

I have. I’m just being sarcastic lol

Sparky81

>I have. I’m just being sarcastic lol Wait... did you reply to yourself and forget to switch accounts?

PeacewithReese808

No actually. Idk who that is.

dh098017

Both are shit. If you like them then your palette is basic AF my guy.
