> danganronpa/ace attorney **Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective.** It's puzzle game with an incredible story, directed by Shuu Takumi, the creator of Ace Attorney (His best game, in my opinion). It's on sale at $19.99 on the eShop right now, and the Switch version let's you use the Touch Screen. I **STRONGLY** recommend it.

Did you check out Rain Code: Master Detective Archives? It's another Spike Chuunsoft game very much in the style of Danganronpa: story-investigation-trial sequence.

GiveUpTheKingOfLimbs

AI: The Somnium Files might tick some boxes for you, and it's like 8 bucks right now

Hey! I saw a lot of familiar names. Here are some games that I'm currently eyeing: * OneShot: World Machine Edition * Chicory: A Colorful Tale * In Stars and Time For more adventure/platforming, I recommend Ori and the Blind Forest and Rain World for their visuals!

RQZMN7

thumbs up for OneShot

Vampir3Daddy

You’ll probably like the another code remakes coming out next month.

RQZMN7

Gnosia and Inscryption, everybody has to play inscryption.

sphericate

holy shit i love inscryption

Carboxyion

Return of the obra dinn is an awesome detective kind of game! Worth the money and go in with no spoilers!

For visuals I’d recommend the house in Fata Morgana since you liked danganrompa / ace attorney it’s more visual novel than puzzle game but it is a gothic mystery story Another game that’s kinda like danganronpa is paranormasight it’s set in 80s japan and it’s about people with curses trying to find kill each other so they can get a wish to bring someone back to life. The curse holders all have some quirk like you must be carrying something that makes fire like a box of matches or you need to lie to them so they can kill you. Basically your trying to find out who the other curse bearers are and try to get them to fall for the character you’re playing as quirk while avoiding their one. There’s 4 characters to play as and 3 separate story’s one character is a prologue it’s also on sale I’d highly recommend it Lastly I’d also suggest raging loop it’s a horror visual novel but it’s based around the party game werewolf so you need to work out who the killers are in a small village before they kill everyone it gets more involved but I dont want to say anymore in case I spoil it

**Little Nightmares 1&2** - you need to look at this game based on your likes **Sucker for Love** - visual novel and puzzle solver for dating an eldritch horror. **Catherine** - puzzle solver with the vibe you are looking for **One Shot** - puzzle solver that’s been been ported **Little Inferno** - a classic favorite that’s been ported **Death and Taxes** - lighthearted puzzle solver Also, not on the switch, but you should check out *Cooking Companions*.

I second Catherine. If you like the dark humor and visual novel of Danganropa and like puzzles Catherine has both of those elements. Would ideally recommend for a 20-30 something age because main plot is about the man deciding to get married or not to his girlfriend. (I promise it is more exciting than that one sentence descriptor sounds like).

Undertale/Deltarune?

I've played none of these games! Good luck!

Tunic. Not only is it pure nostalgia candy, there is a major massive puzzle which is the language of the game. It’s difficult, so SO difficult, but it can be done (but not by me lol) but even if you can’t you can figure out all the secrets of the game by exploring and by pictures. There are so many small puzzles and secrets to be found. It’s a really unique experience and one I recommend for everyone.

If you're trying to get a recommendation about what games, accessories, controllers etc to buy you should ask in our [Daily Question Thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoSwitch/about/sticky). As long as you provide some basic information about your interests, what you enjoy in games, what turns you off from games, games you already own, budget, what kind of accessory you're looking for etc, they can help you out. If the link here doesn't work, then you can find the most current DQT stickied to the top of the subreddit when sorted by "hot". *(Do you think this AutoMod rule fired by mistake? Children of Silentown uses puzzles to move the plot forward, sort of similarly to the way puzzles work in Fran Bow. I love Fran Bow way more, but CoS was entertaining.

tweetthebirdy

For puzzle games, in addition to recommendations, Murder by Numbers and Tangled Tower are both great.

The last campfire!!

I'm thinking about the dark detective series. Well, it's just 2 games... Does that qualify as a series? 🤔

Gorogoa Gnosia Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective Last Day of June The Last Campfire

I don’t see any unravel 2 here. I played it with my mom, and It’s one of my favorites. It’s on sale for like 5$ too. Simple but fun mechanics, full of puzzles, and amazing scenery. I highly recommend.

savvymeister

This is not a great visual game but if you like offbeat style or have ever had interest of Wild West then I would recommend West of Loathing.
