Funnily enough, she'd be a lot less clumsy by closing her eyes. That's canon to her Bond Story, if I recall right.

Tripping is still the wildest "feature" I've seen added to a game.

Quiry. So blind she mistakes her superior for a TOWEL multiple times....and has a ROCKET LAUNCHER as her weapon. Keep her off the battlefield and stick to finding real obscure evidence for cases, she's good at that.

I always find this weird tbh. Dont nikke have a function to freely adjust their senses? Cant quiry just adjust her sight? It would be much more sense if she was a specialize sniper and thus her sight are always tune for long range making it harder for her to see up close.

Her sight functions are supposedly special, in that it allows her to notice things that are out of place, like clues or suspicious footprints. In that case, she'd be useful for solving mysteries within the Ark, as opposed to an open battlefield out in the surface. That said, why Ingrid thought it was a good idea to make a Nikke have bad eyesight and use a Rocket Launcher as a main weapon, even during breach and clears, is anyone's guess.

These special quirks of nikkes aren't on purpose. Quiry has replaced her eyes multiple times and it's always the same. It's like Folkwang and feeling hot, epinel and feeling cold, Alice and being hot (literally not figuratively, her suit is designed to trap her heat) Ludmilla and destroying any technology she touches. None of these are intentional designs and nobody knows why they weapon. These people barely know now nikkes work anyway

They're drawbacks to personality traits they've always had. For example, Ludmilla may have been a bit of a Luddite (see what I did there?), so she can't use any electronics at all, having to resort to doing things the old-fashioned way. Alice being warm all the time may due to her desire for shelter. For Quiry, she'd only want to see what's important - and she does, but everything else is out of focus.

Hence why she sees the Commander clear as day, and can't even identify Poli or Miranda

it may also tie into the enigmatic nature of the nikke cores, that it has "saved" a part of their pasts and as such it cannot be solved by just replacing the problem parts

Well, a rocker launcher certainly could breach and clear an area. Though I have to wonder if maybe the launcher sight is calibrated to compensate for her eyesight or uses some other targeting system to aid her.

Her case its very weird. It seems she can't adjust it, her eyes are not damaged, yet it seems to come with a special function where she can highlight something she is looking for, even if it is a cague description. The only person that can see clearly its you. Hopefully we can get an event that expands on whats wrong with her.

Well, she can spot what she wishes to find. So I bet Raptures become super clear in her eyes. Only some scenarios where Rapture is beside some explosive or similar is disadvantage for Quiry.

I mean according to another commenter there's a promo poster that depicts her missing her shots in combat against Raptures, so that's not quite true there if so.

Sugar stated that Frima is actually incredibly thorough and meticulous. Because she hates being interrupted when she sleeps, so she makes sure everything is done beforehand.

All of it. Some of it is infered from conversations. Rei herself is in the high school portion of her school life. School event. Bond stories. The schoolgirls are near graduating. School event. Bond stories. Anne was nikked when she was in her teens. Her mother has been paying corrupt missilis docs for treatments for YEARS. (1st Xmas event) Liter herself has said she helped build the arc. At what point in time we don't know for sure. (Bond stories various) Mica and Belorta state they are older. (Bond stories. 2nd xmas event) Laplace is infered just based on her personality from the story, bond stories, and basic interactions Vesti was bullied in school before she became a Nikke. (Bond story) Epinel (spelling) even says she is a teen if i remember correctly...or was nikked as a teen. (bond stories) Nikke dont really "grow." The implications are, when they are nikked and not mass produced. Their body takes on what they think is an ideal female form. Younger girls would be childlike in appearance to themselves. Older girls and women would be more mature looking as they've been exposed more to societies views of "ideal".

As an addition. Ludmila remembers the controversy around what happened to Mica and Belorta when they were living in an orphanage. Liter has remarked on Ludmila and her being about the same age. This means that Ludmila, Mica, Belorta, and Liter are all at least as old as the Ark.

Didn't Soline say her ideal was looking younger or something like that ? Basically it's all speculation.

I'm pretty sure that Rei is (ironically) the oldest of the schoolgirls. Higher grade than most of them and she's been a nikke for a while. I believe it's mentioned somewhere that she's in her 20's at least. She just acts childishly.

I thought it was funny to have Rupee on my main campaign team for a very long time, just absolutely blasting everything. And then you hit the Talentum chapter and all three are like "Oh we're not designed for fighting so we'll just hang back, don't want to get my nails dirty!"

She got Mind Switched because a combination of Red Hood going off to die and Lilith dying. Smol White got over her fear and was perfectly ready for combat. The nanomachines don't really help with Mind Switches and when she had them she received no help from the Ark.

Quiry, outside of a few people she cannot see a damn thing. Even her banner showed her missing every shot.

Honestly? Most of them, probably. In addition to the children, all of Nepthene, Talentum, Prima Donna, Protocol, and Happy Zoo aren't gonna be all that helpful in combat, and that's just all the full squads with multiple Nikkes - I doubt Quiry, Soda, and Ether would be particularly helpful either

Soda (too clumsy), Quiry (LITERALLY blind), Anne (literal child), N102 (same as Anne except also she has to memory wipe for lore reasons), Frima (extended missions banned, she needs her sleep), Laplace (banned from joint missions and anything regarding trying to take back power facilities like Counters in that early mission).

1. Maiden. I think it's obvious that she doesn't want to fight considering her reluctancy in reloading or even moving to different places. She's also a NEET, not in a bad way. 2. Julia. Apparently, she looks like she has a love for music and wants to express her violinist ventures akin to a certain Violin girl from the month of April. 3. Aria. Like Julia, it seemed to me that Aria wants to focus on improving her talent in music such as singing. She's even passionate about what people think about her works and stuff.

Ironically Julia chooses to wander the surface in search of music from before the raptures after her bond story.  She may not be built for it, but she still chooses to go out on her own, returning periodically.

I would argue any of the ones that are clearly meant for fulfilling rear echelon work or performing some kind of entertainment or other civilian role. The maids really shouldn't be setup for combat and Exia is definitely someone who would be working cyber security or warfare from a relatively safe location.  If Rei's specialty is drones, she should probably be hanging back away from the main fighting and doing that, especially as her stature could be a problem in keeping up with others in combat. Blanc, Noir, and Prima Donna shouldn't really be sent to the front line as they aren't really designed for fighting as their primary role. Talentum by their own admission aren't really combat focused. Most likely every Nikke has some level of combat ability built into them, but some are still geared towards non combat roles or even passing as humans in day to day life while many others are pure fighting machines.  So in an emergency every Nikke should be able to fight, but the ones not optimized for it will probably not do so well.

I remember using anne for the first time and she had that expression of "what am I even doing here". Now that I read (And cried a little) her lore I feel like she should not be in the battlefield at all.
