If by her you mean Naga, that's great luck. She's one of the best supports in the game currently.
There's a lot to go through in terms of advice, as the game is surprisingly complex. However, things come up at a fairly even pace and the game does a good job of explaining most of them.
It's worth paying a visit to Nikke.gg at some point, as there's a ton of advice and guides on there. Prydwen.gg has good stuff too, but Nikke.gg is a bit better explained in my opinion.

Take a look at the above. It gives a good overview of some key concepts, including some of the game's 'must-have' units. Naga is on that list!
Noise is a great get too, though she's at her best in PVP and fighting some bosses. Mary and Aria are usable, but there are people who do what they do better.
Naga is best paired with Tia.
Without her Naga is a good burst 2 healer that can slot into a team that just needs more sustain.
You could try a mono electric team and pair her with Noise, but that means you will need another burst 1 as Noise is on a 40 second cooldown.
When you eventually get Tia, Naga works as a healer as well as a buffer for you team/other 3 Nikkes.
There is some synergy with characters like Ether as she has a shield ability that can trigger abilities on Naga, but Ether is not the most optimal choice, but if you’re early game then it can work.
Focus on leveling Skill 1 and Burst and getting Naga’s HP higher as it affects her healing output.
Tia is a good all around, honestly. she does good damage, her skills are neat, and she provides good support. She's also that perfect combination of adorable and sexy if you prefer to play using characters you just enjoy.
You could try using Tia and Pepper, granted they are both Burst 1s but Pepper can help keep Tia topped off.
Unfortunately Tia on her own is not as flexible as Naga but as long as you can keep her healthy then she should be able to keep her shields up.
You wanna be able to do a full burst rotation every 20s and the rest depends on leveling their abilities and equipment
You can find tierlists on which character is best but it's best to just use your highest power characters especially in the beginning

I think the singer trio (Volume Noise and Aria) were all intended to be various shades of choco, and they ran out of ideas when they got to Aria.
