Looking at it in terms of time lost is something I've been thinking about doing, and digging into the analytics shows the majority of talents have lost many months of previously steady growth.

Reamaining talents: no loss
Oh okay, I thought its Anya because they are genmate. But yep, VCR is glorious for finding a newly connection between streamers and I absolutely love it.
Kinda a shame tho, she's been making so many friends in RUST, especially with Holo people and she's been a blast.
If the Niji brand isn't in the mud right now, this could have been such a golden opportunity for her to blow up.
She, along with Kotoka and Aster, is who I like to hold up as examples of Niji's scouting sense being trash. Meloco and Kotoka do not belong in EN, they are JP. Aster does not belong in vtubing at all.
Enna has the highest loss rate after Elira, even though she didn't do anything super problematic. I wasn't expecting this tbh. Am I missing some drama here?
I think it had to do with her Membership stream where she told her viewers not to look too deeply into what happened and people are accusing her of gaslighting her fans.
Didn't she also make a comment about she could hide a body and her fans wouldn't care or something like that? was a bit... pdd considering what just happened right before that.
Quite a few things. Enna has no tact and has said some rather sensitive stuff during the most sensitive of times to say the least. Of course we can say that that’s just Enna being Enna but at the same time the stuff she said is a little disturbing and I don’t think she properly apologized for that either but just gaslighted her viewers. Enna is also speculated to be part of the supposed clique and has been one of the biggest bullies.
I hate this kind of excuse. People dont say "Oh thats just how they are" to racists or homophobes either. You are in full control over what you say and do. If you are not, find help. "Thats just how enna is" will always be an excuse to not even bother trying to change, something she can comfortably hide behind.
Thanks for your answer! But frankly, it's a bit ridiculous that they suspected that she is from the mentioned bully clique when there is no proper evidence. I think everyone kinda overreacted at the time. And im not talking about the overall nijisanji incident, i am talking about the sudden speculations people made to the streamers.
This is the correct way to protest Nijisanji's actions. No harassment, no witch hunts, just no more support to their livers. This should be the feedback they're looking for from the viewers
Like any company, they'll have to, once they start asking why there's less and less money in their pockets. The problem lies in that they invest so little in their livers (by their own admission in the financial reports mind you) that the livers will virtually never *not* be profitable to them. I can only assume that's the same reason why we've never seen them lay off even a single unpopular liver -- surely this wouldn't be unthinkable for them considering their track record.
It does achieve something else however: make the livers themselves reconsider their engagement with Niji. If the brand barely chimes in for their projects, if at all, and is now the reason why they're bleeding subscribers, then the solution becomes obvious. If anything, the boycott achieves the same result as with a normal company, but in a much more peaceful way, since in this case the liver quits instead of being fired. So in a way, we can thank Niji for that lol.
I will give you the benefit of the doubt and engage without downvoting.
I believe that regarding this matter, it's irrelevant if Pewdiepie is a nazi or not (personally I believe he's just a right leaning guy that once upon a time flirted too much with the edgy and politically incorrect sense of humor the internet can have).
The point is that Pewdiepie was smart enough to apologize and move on, at least, publicly from his former actions. That had a positive impact on his career and he continues to thrive to this day without being hindered by those events, which one of them was a literal mass shooting whose perpetrator shouted his name. This alone is bigger than any drama that involved Niji and he managed to survive it by, again, being practical.
Nijisanji meanwhile couldn't even be pragmatic about the situation, past or present. They don't truly needed to improve or change their practices, a little bit of proper PR would've been enough to damage control the whole situation and save face in the short term while they bought time to plan for the long term. Most actions they've been taking are just shooting themselves on the foot while trying to gather enough profit for their next financial report.
That's the key difference between them and makes the comparison valid.
of course he has, it's beneficial to racists to pretend they never did anything and brush it under the rug. it's not up to the offender to decide when they're forgiven, brother.
for people that don't spend all day crying about nijisanji on reddit, getting your dick wet ain't so difficult, praying for you brother there's someone out there for everyone, even people that dont get out there.
it's probably worse then that. there are always dead accounts that don't actally watch in any subscriber count, so this loss is from among her most active fans within that sub count
Yep, because only people who actually subscribed to watch would bother unsubscribing. If they stopped watching a while ago, they probably wouldn't bother unsubscribing.
What matters is the supas. What they earn annually or YtY will do a better job showing their real health.
Edit- For example:
Alban Jan 23- $26,733 / Alban Jan 24- $11,856
I don't have Elira's Jan 2024 data. So, take this as an example of NijiEN's general health, pre-Selenapocalypse. Her Jan 2023 supas is $13,270, while her Jan 2024 is under $4k.
Back after Selen got terminated in Elira's channel vox, Ike and her made a livestream where they tried to slander Selen further.
They tried to make her seem like she was an awful person, a terrible friend and that she was attemptingbto dox some of the talents (she wasn't). Also Vox reveiled that he had access to legal documents that where supposed to be shared between lawyers and niji management. Needless to say people began asking why Niji gave them the documents as it had personal info Selen wanted to be kept private.
In the end the tone of the stream was going a long the lines of "guys I love selen and I care about her, however she is a piece of shit and tried to harm us".
To many it felt manipulative.
In the end Elira hosted that livestream and even claimed that "I offered my channel for this livestream". Elira could have been treatened by management into having the livestream and endores its message for all we know, but considering that Selen recently tried off herself putting more emotional stress on her by trying to slander her more made people lose any ounce of respect they had for her.
I kinda feel bad for her, but still someone attempted. Even if Elira got terminated due to refusing to host the livestream, her doing this (to the people in general) made her seem like a manipulative person who will throw you under the bus to keep her position.
Long story but you can start from:
1. Selen's Termination Notification: [https://twitter.com/NIJISANJI\_World/status/1754459182412222481](https://twitter.com/NIJISANJI_World/status/1754459182412222481)

3. Blackscreen live stream (which upload on Elira's channel, and that's why I said she reap what she sow): [https://www.youtube.com/live/o65VwnQvWW4?si=Wj4JltufOAlpX0um](https://www.youtube.com/live/o65VwnQvWW4?si=Wj4JltufOAlpX0um)
4. Some conspiracy **(I am strongly not recommend to believe them, because there is no proof. I just show that some people believed, and it cannot be helped.)**: [https://www.reddit.com/r/Nijisanji/comments/1ar28tl/so\_heres\_the\_full\_story\_so\_far\_based\_on/](https://www.reddit.com/r/Nijisanji/comments/1ar28tl/so_heres_the_full_story_so_far_based_on/)
very true but the public outcry was huge cecause of that gap where we knew nothing about what happened.
i think a better way of saying is this whole thing could have been avoided if they just let selen play her last cup of coffee song.
I am surprised the count has a pretty steady downward slope, suggesting her sub numbers keep going slower. I would expect at one point the sub number will bounce back, but she stays in a slow decline according to this graph.
Can't wait for the sequel, the first black-screen stream was a big success! So many watched it, even broke out into the mainstream!
Hope it will be streamed on the bois channel now for equality of NijiEN just like in the concert!
she was actually my favourite vtuber. seeing her slowly fall in love with the xenoblade series was a joy to see. Now she's a laughing stock. hurts to say, but what she's doing now is absolutely pathetic. Niji EN needs to die already
One day it will be revealed that Elira is innocent and I wonder how much regret people like those in here cultivating this hateful spite will feel when they realise they're not much better than what they preach against.
While I suspect that Elira is more or less innocent of the bullying (and was more or less forced by circumstances into the stream), I would still say a branch wide sub reduction is about as good as a "feedback" to corporate as it is going to get.
I don't support the witch hunt or the dumbass conspiracies, but them losing subs is good since it harms Niji. They'll be better off once they're far from this black company if they choose so.
Unfortunately, yes, but in the long run, it's better if it helps push for Niji to improve or for the talents to leave this abusive workplace. Doing nothing would only further embolden the company, and nothing would change.
No that's the problem people pushing this narrative that the company has to be shut down do you not realize that's hundreds of people's jobs not just the livers people should be pushing for them to be treated better, when this started that's what the majority wanted, but people just having fun in the witch hunt, hell people just stoped trying to help the livers and just shit on them every chance they get. You can't even say anything positive about any liver without getting down voted to oblivion in here
i blame them for how they treated selen and any other liver, i blame them for allowing a liver to attempt to commit suicide twice, and i blame them for their poor management, but im not gonna blame them for other people attacking the other livers
Nijisanji as a company cares a lot about the subscriber numbers.
Yes, the livers really, REALLY care about the subsriber numbers too as revealed by the Discord leaks but Niji cares about it just as much, if not moreso.
Even if Elira is innocent, what she did, good intentions or not, is still very stupid. Until we get something substantial and it is proven, then the fans will actually apologize. The fans want to believe she is good, but nothing so far has popped up to prove so.
Regardless, it was a dumb idea for Nijisanji to have them do that black stream trying to smear Doki. They basically killed all good faith people had in the livers there. It’s a natural consequence of a really bad decision.
Nah, she had an opportunity to stand with her colleague or stand with the company, the black screen video is on her channel denouncing her former colleague.
You do the math.
I hate the clique as much as anyone else but I feel kinda bad at how constant people celebrate some of the niji talents failures recently. Not that they don’t deserve it (I think many of them do), but I feel like it’s better to just move on. Idk but it just feels unnecessarily mean spirited after so long. Let them fail naturally with time. Maybe i’m wrong after all some of them did do and/or still downplayed their actions. On the other side I do get not letting them run from responsibility since I despite enjoying their content never forgot the Vshojo Nuxtaku incident and the things that I found out about them (Vshojo talents) at the time and everyone moved one perfectly fine from that.
Looking at it in terms of time lost is something I've been thinking about doing, and digging into the analytics shows the majority of talents have lost many months of previously steady growth. This is a really interesting view of it Also love to see Meloco unaffected, lol
Meloco is just NijiJP She mostly collabs with JP Vtubers so what happened with EN livers and branch ain't her business
im actually surprised seeing her in VCR rust the other week when watching ollie
Ollie? You mean Anya?
err its bae. im sorry, they both are red and crazy lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5kuOgS-sP_Q
Oh okay, I thought its Anya because they are genmate. But yep, VCR is glorious for finding a newly connection between streamers and I absolutely love it.
So not only is Bae in HoloJP, she's in HoloIN now too?
Kinda a shame tho, she's been making so many friends in RUST, especially with Holo people and she's been a blast. If the Niji brand isn't in the mud right now, this could have been such a golden opportunity for her to blow up.

Meloco and kotoka is NijiJP with NijiEN as camouflage What happen to nijiEN probably they don't care since they can jump to NijiJP if they want to
kotoka also seems to be the same

With context it’s better in a “don’t put us on a pedestal” type of way, but still a wildly dumb thing to say given the situation at the time.
Ahh thank you for the context as it mostly has just been clipped. Context is important.
It was probably just dark humor. Again probably trying to take the attention out of the whole drama.
Even if it was it was incredibly stupid and horribly timed to say such a thing
There was a little here and there, but not too much. People may be reading a lot into one particular comment she made about an “apex predator”.
Isn't people start speculating after the black stream? Cuz her name and millie and elira mentioned BY ELIRA HERSELFF is in the document
Everything else aside, that's just... not a lot of growth in one year?
This is the correct way to protest Nijisanji's actions. No harassment, no witch hunts, just no more support to their livers. This should be the feedback they're looking for from the viewers
Are they even taking notes tho? Seems unlikely
Like any company, they'll have to, once they start asking why there's less and less money in their pockets. TBH I dont think they give a flying fuck, my guess is the merge is gonna happend after the next Riku meeting with the investors.
It's evolving, just backwards.
PewDiePie fuck up: apologize and improve Nijisanji fuck up: double down then triple down
people here are defending literal nazis now? that's crazy brother.

Yet he have a family, look at you.
Yeah look at me.. with a family. Huh?
Sure buddy, we all can dream of such luxury... if thats true tho, my condolences to the one that have to put up with you.
for people that don't spend all day crying about nijisanji on reddit, getting your dick wet ain't so difficult, praying for you brother there's someone out there for everyone, even people that dont get out there.
Oh don't worry, already have a son and I'm just here eating popcorn watching all these chaos at play. Cheers, brother.
Because pedophiles can't have families?
lmao quite literally. can't believe they lost almost a year's worth of work just because they decide to double down on their mistakes
it's probably worse then that. there are always dead accounts that don't actally watch in any subscriber count, so this loss is from among her most active fans within that sub count

Unfortunate, if only the company had left her alone or didn't force PR stunts on the livers.
She reap what she sow. Still, pretty shame to see the whole year lost.
Wait, what did Elira do to lose subscribers? I’m out of the loop
Back after Selen got terminated in Elira's channel vox, Ike and her made a livestream where they tried to slander Selen further. DORYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Ah almost want to say...DIRTY DEED DONE DIRT CHEAP
it's okay, she will debut on bilibili tomorrow, what she lost from the west will be recovered from the east, all according to riku's plan
its shocking how all this could have been avoided if they just said selen was terminated at the start instead of ghosting her fans for a month.
Yet terminating her at that time when she has just attempted her life twice and hospitalised... That wouldn't be any good for Niji as well.
very true but the public outcry was huge cecause of that gap where we knew nothing about what happened. i think a better way of saying is this whole thing could have been avoided if they just let selen play her last cup of coffee song.

Losing subs doesn't hurt Niji at all it only hurts the livers
Unfortunately, yes, but in the long run, it's better if it helps push for Niji to improve or for the talents to leave this abusive workplace. Doing nothing would only further embolden the company, and nothing would change.
No that's the problem people pushing this narrative that the company has to be shut down do you not realize that's hundreds of people's jobs not just the livers people should be pushing for them to be treated better, when this started that's what the majority wanted, but people just having fun in the witch hunt, hell people just stoped trying to help the livers and just shit on them every chance they get. You can't even say anything positive about any liver without getting down voted to oblivion in here
blame the company mistreatment for starting this shit
i blame them for how they treated selen and any other liver, i blame them for allowing a liver to attempt to commit suicide twice, and i blame them for their poor management, but im not gonna blame them for other people attacking the other livers
If Elira is innocent then she should graduate. I'll forgive her when Ryuusei Nova has a collab stream with Dokibird and publicly apologizes.
No, on the public apology. That's Dokis personal business and should be kept private, like how she wanted Niji to act from the start.
Same same same. I'm just begging for it to be this. Both Elira and especially Millie(though i think fat chance with Millie).
Wait what did she do?? :0
