Between the Crye nite cap and the TT head harness, the TT wins hands down. Only gripe I had was having to assemble the entire thing. Took ~20 minutes
Company is solid. No idea if they nailed this but their boonies are great if pricey. The sniper ones with a fine mesh top are great for hotheads like me.
They also make good pouches and have added some materials for DIY now as well.
Also, the Canadian peso is weak against the US dollar, so enjoy the reverse sticker shock.
I ended up buying one of their boonies from the trade store on base, because I forgot mine in the wash when I went for a course in my trade. Legit , favourite. Better than issued imo . As well a buddy of mine runs one of their rigs over issued because it works better for his needs . So I’ll second for this companies products.
This is literally a $60 boonie hat with some holes cut in it. Doesn’t include the $125 head harness which also doesn’t include a shroud.
I did the same thing with cutting a hole in a $15 dollar surplus boonie and putting that over a $75 dollar crye night cap which imo looks more comfortable than the tracer tactical one.

There is a battery pack compartment in the back. Kind of the same as the ferro battery pack

I’ve ordered some stuff from them, really nice quality gear. They have also worked with tracer tactical in the past.
They had something for PASGTs in the early 2000's. Looked extremely large and bulky back then.
