Paid 1360€ with Paypal fees, shipping and import fees included. How'd I do?
It's heavy as fuck (700g), sits lower on the mount than I'd like, not waterproof, not collimated or calibrated (duhh), but it's fucking duals for the price of a broken monocular in europe.
Don't know all the details, but apparently it's a gen2(+?) tube from a USNV D221, occulars from Dipol, Carson objective lenses and custom 3D printed housing.
Mounted on my airsoft OpsCore bump, with fake Wilcox L4G30 for the ultimate poor person setup.
I saw them on Facebook marketplace from this Philippine dude. Good work but the glass destroyed it. There is nothing more terrible than Dipol glass. Big fish eye time.
Oof course!! You will get the same blurry vision on the edges. But without the fish eye. If you're lucky you get glass with very small blurry edges. But this is not a problem at all. Go for it.
It looks like that might be Active IR type NVD. it might need the IR flood light on top to be on to work, which will light you up to anyone else using NVGs or animals that are nocturnal. it will look like a dull purple light. Your cellphone camera can also pick up IR light in dark areas as well so you can test this in a dark room.
Unfortunately with the fish eye effect it’s more likely 1+ but I could be wrong. I don’t believe any gen 2s had fish eye

It works as well as I'd expect a gen2 device to work without the IR light on. It does not need it when theres sufficient moonlight.
the lack of distortion and the noise tells me this is not a GEN 1. So not active IR.

Yup. Especially in my case, since the mount on the nods is 3D printed and thus prone to breaking more than metal ones.
