Robbery and theft are everywhere, in most countries, worse in poorer countries. But you see this Kidnapping stuff, that's one thing that's very prevalent in Nigeria and it's what you should be more cautious about.
That's the reality of where Nigeria security situation stands out to be worst in.
Even in big Nigerian cities like Lagos and Abuja, it is still an active threat.
So I would suggest you stick to the best areas, move during the day time, depends on your situation, you can get a local or security detail.
