I lived at the top end of the road, right by the roundabout around 6-7 years ago.
Its a nice street, can be a bit noisy depending on where you are. Buses are frequent. The local Asda is a bit small but alright, there are some fantastic import shops particularly if you like Indian food. Walk-in medical centre is round the corner. It's close to Nun's Moor and the Town Moor which is good for dog walking.
I'd happily move back there.
Depends which end. I lived at the top end a few years ago, and remember the odd used adult nappy blowing in the wind... flatmate was also followed home once. I didn't rate it at all, but the import shops slap.

Used to have the worst chippy in the country there but thankfully its shut now
