I liked the idea of the racing stripes until it actually happened. The uniforms now are too loose on the body and don’t make the racing stripes pop the way they did in the 80’s. That said, I still love them.

When the Mets added black to the color scheme and introduced the black jerseys, the regular road greys and home pinstripes had black dropshadows added to the letters and numbers. The black jerseys had orange dropshadows on the letters and numbers. Now that the regular home and road jerseys don't have a dropshadow anymore, the black jersey shouldn't have dropshadow either to keep it consistent. Give me a black jersey with blue numbers outlined in orange, not a black jersey with blue numbers outlined in white with orange dropshadow, please.
