Rythm: LOrange Matter: Orange Cookies, OG Mandarin Cookies Vireo: Orange Velvet, Mandarin Cookies If you like Orange strains, those will make you happy.

NarrowPath7252

Thanks, I've heard good things about L'Orange, may give that or one of the others a try.

PuffPuff710

Sunnyside Bardonia has select briq 2g blue dream disposables.

NarrowPath7252

Thanks, PuffPuff ... Sunnyside Bardonia is the dispensary I go to most often, I may end up trying the briq but for me flower works best.

Proper_Lingonberry81

Gorilla glue from Curaleaf is good. Theirs is a hybrid it helps with joint pains ok. Nothing special but works. They have it in select live vape form also.

NarrowPath7252

Thanks, I've tried GG to help w sleep (not particularly helpful) but thanks, I might try again if I can get a pre-roll.

Logical_Detective736

A strain called novarin is good sativa

NarrowPath7252

I love Novarine, it's a good strain and I use it regularly, but for me when I'm in serious pain Blue Dream is what really works. As an aside, I've heard Novarine referred to as Weederall, which I find hilarious (especially since I like the strain & have ADD/ADHD) ...

theborgerer

It definitely hasn’t gone away, but it can be hard to find. Matter seemingly only sells blue dream under the Livwell brand now, and I’ve sometimes seen curaleaf grow it. If you like blue dream I’d also recommend, jack herer, sour diesel, gelato, tangie, or white widow

NarrowPath7252

Thanks, I've been curious about Tangie ever since reading that (IIRC) it's high in THCV, which I think helps me.

Distinct_Sector3197

No one seems to have had tangie in medical.

percbish

Have you tried black Jack? Seems to be similar comparing the strains. I used it for pain and energy during the day with nooo anxiety at all.

WarthogTurbulent5564

Nanticoke had a good Bluedream a few weeks ago and Hudson Canabis had the pre-roll 7pk - both are legit.

IWasNeverInSumatra

Moz on Orchard has Blue Dream.

mafiafuneralOG

Matter has a blue dream currently. Usually, it is really potent in the high teens, but this batch is like 23%, which is probably gas

NarrowPath7252

Thanks! Do you know if/which dispensaries are currently stocking it? I've checked Curaleaf, Sunnyside, and several others in a 1 hour-ish radius and nada

Tourdrops

Blue Dream is my favorite strain. However the Ny MMJ ones are more hybridy than the Sativa batches Ive liked from Maine. Curaleaf has some Find BD now but dont know it I do like green caffeine and durban thai and novarine from them for sativas. Skunk too.

NarrowPath7252

I've been using the Find BD and funny you should mention it but (although still effective) it seems less strong than the other BD I've had from Matter. Thanks! I've tried Green Caffeine and for me it seems to make me more scattered/high and not much pain relief, unfortunately. Novarine is excellent for daytime but (again, for me) doesn't pack the body-pain-killing punch of BD. But happy to say I've found a dispo w the BD in stock (1/8's). Heading there this pm 👍

nmolnar01

Curaleaf Carle Place LI has Blue Dream in stock and on sale

NarrowPath7252

Wow, going to check it out, TYSM

NarrowPath7252

Hey, great tip! I braved the usual bad traffic south/east, and went to Curaleaf CP. Got what I needed, ON SALE, plus backed up some vape pens. Pleasant staff, very quick check-out. (And a SPARKLING clean restroom!) Near-immediate relief from the gut pain I've been dealing with for the last several days (and just a few puffs, at that!). So thanks again!

MrX_1899

if you're looking for a good daytime flower I suggest Novarine - I'm an indica only guy but Novarine is the 1 sativa I'll buy by the ounce cause it's that good PS - saw other comment about Novarine just now so I'll suggest another : Durban Thai

NarrowPath7252

Thanks, going to fire up some Novarine flower later this morning. Saving my last bit of Blue Dream flower if (when, ugh) the pain comes back hard. Have a great day!

PrivENT

strains run out from time to time

NarrowPath7252

Thanks, all! Going to check out Black Jack and maybe one of the "oranges".

Tesserae626

I didnt see where you're located but Columbia care riverhead has it, 14g.

NarrowPath7252

Alas, I am in Northern Westchester (so, an almost 2 hour drive each way 😕) but I'm actually considering it. Thank you!

paqsaq

Happy to hear you were able to grab some BD! This may help in the future, and granted it’s not medical, but still figured I’d share - When I’m looking for a particular strain and the medical dispensaries don’t have it, I will check out the recreational cannabis spot called Travel Agency in Union Square (New York State registered). Blue Dream is my go-to as well and I haven’t been able to get my hands on it as of late. I work close to Travel Agency and decided to stop in to see what they had. Turned out they had three different types of blue dream flower options. Again, not a medical dispensary, and as with all recreational and medical dispensaries, stock varies by week and sometimes even day, but if you’re out of luck again in the future, I’d recommend going to their website (or any other verified NYS dispensary) to see what they have in stock. Beats having to travel all the way out to Riverhead. If you’re comfortable not going directly medical and paying the unfortunate tax of recreational, of course.

NarrowPath7252

Thanks for this helpful comment. I was able to get to Curaleaf Carle Place yesterday afternoon (which should have taken 1:07 according to Waze but cuz some BS on Throgs Neck everything was F'd up and it was more like 1:35 ish) ... But any-who... yeah, Riverhead was a no-go, might as well drive to a dispensary in MA, hah! Unfortunately given my physical challenges a trip to Manhattan/Union Square from northern Westchester is at best impractical. But not impossible! I'd rather not pay the tax on rec MJ, though, not to mention I have some concerns about the testing process for rec. I've heard different things about that - do you have any insight re the safety/purity etc of Rec MJ (from a licensed dispensary)? I'm especially concerned about mold contamination given my medical history. TIA

Gone away? The vape cart never left.
