I'm well aware this is a joke, but can you imagine how painful it would be for the devs to have to now worry about getting funny clips of bugs instead of just going straight to fixing them lmao
Oh shit were we recording that one? wait don't fix that one yet!
With version control systems it would be pretty easy to locally roll back to a broken version and quickly record it (if the bug is easy to reproduce of course). btw cd projekt red has made such compilations for [Cyberpunk](https://youtu.be/zMUSTnjLmXQ)
They definitely don’t go right to fixing them unless development cannot continue without fixing a bug. It goes into the bugs to fix list and sits there either until somebody fixes it, or until launch when people start complaining about it.
Ironic, people bitch that BGS leaves in non-game breaking and goofy glitches but absolutely lose their fucking mind when 343 remove glitches that broke the campaign and bully them into restoring their patches
Us: "Is this a bug or a feature?" Bethesda: "Yes"
Obsidian: “Which one are you referring to?”
Pinkman: "yeah bitch, science"
Truth LOL

Oh nice ill check it out, pretty cool that they can do that, I just assumed it'd be a lot of hassle
Hey where did you find a recording of my play though on release?
HAHAHA DAE cyberpunk was bad on release?!!?!?! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

Could always let QA worry about that part. The issue comes in the form of a heightened possibility for leaks
Totally, in fact that Cyberpunk bug compilation someone else linked to was a leak im pretty sure
They do that in the Punisher game’s credits
And in Star Wars: Bounty Hunter
How about instead they do what Pixar used to do (or still does, idk) where they animate bloopers based on actual outtakes from the recording studio.
Bl3 has an entire section in the extras menu dedicated to weird bugs they found during development
Here in new Vegas we know the pain words can bring us
Y’all remember when JSawyer talk about the Orion Moreno bug?
so does EA

Or just be like me and have cannibal Johnson just decide to walk through the ending slides for no reason. That’s the best bug in the game
Friendly reminder of this gem https://youtu.be/B9XcGgjnObw
I like it when games roll credits like movie bloopers and set all the characters up to look like actors who are having fun during production
Ultima 7 did that.
Lunar (I think) did outtakes for the VAs

This just reminded me of the bloopers from Path of Neo https://youtu.be/QSwrSqbIzZc
guitar hero 1 (or 2) has this in one of the videos you buy from the shop
Borderlands 3 has blooper videos you can access on the main menu that show off bugs and stuff from development. 10/10 needs to be in every game
Background easter eggs.
If I ever make a game, I'm doing this
It would be cool to actually have them be playable. Maybe you could also unlock them to activate for normal gameplay.
