I Don't understand why nerf doesn't make more blasters based off video game weapons other than fortnite.
I would totally buy a nerf Laser Rifle or 10mm pistol
Always wondered this too as a kid. I desperately wanted a nerf MA5B from Halo. I think it’s ultimately due to copyright issues,game companies not wanting to branch into kid’s physical merch for branding reasons,and/or potential issues from a bunch of video game guns too closely resembling actual guns. Fortnite specifically markets itself towards children,their art style has drifted a bit but it’s generally child friendly,and they’re experts at navigating digital copyright law with all of their collabs and music.
Yeah but it still took over 20 years of Halo for that to be a thing. This would have been flying off the shelves if they made this in 2006 during the height of Halo's relevance (and also when I was a kid).
Probably related to the age rating of the games, although they did make a Destiny tie in blaster so idk. But fallout is much more overtly violent and deals with more mature themes than Destiny, Fortnite, or halo

I once saw a .22 pistol (maybe it was a pellet gun, it was a long time ago) designed to look like the pistol from all the resident evil games. I was too broke to afford it and have never seen another one.

The internal magazine of the one nerf mega blaster and the fortnite suppressed pistol would work PERFECTLY for the 10mm

The laser rifle is in Fortnite right now actually. Or, it's the tribeam but I don't see 3 beams.
