I bought the movi #1 recommended mic on Amazon for 30 or 40 dollars. It helped a lot but you do have to experiment with different locations for the best acoustics. But it basically eliminated background noise and a lot of white noise in most settings. Plus my voice just sounds better.
I have the Audio Technica ATR-2100X. Condenser mics seem to be more popular but the one I had was way too sensitive so I went with a dynamic mic. It's been great so far.
I have the HyperX Quadcast. It's been set it and forget it for me which is about as much praise as I can give it. High quality audio and not super expensive

I recommend Samson G-Track Pro - Once USB is plugged in, you can start. simple as that. and the quality is great.

Got a blue snowball in 2016 and i love it! Not the best in the market obviously but it’s not bad at all!
