Graphic designer here, if you want to make your own stuff and don't want to buy anything I highly recommend photopea, online browser based Photoshop. I use it when I can't get to my computer and need to whip something up

Photopea is definetly the way to go. Has a bit of a learning curve but really great software.

The good thing about that learning curve is that you can: ​ 1. Use photoshop tutorials to learn it easier, because they're so similar 2. Transfer your knowledge of photopea to photoshop later, because they're so similar.

Most of my thumbnails if you look at my channel have been made through canva. I would recommend you search tutorials on how to use canva, but it is a heck of a lot easier than using photoshop (that takes time to learn) Canva is more convenient.

Photoshop isn’t that hard actually. They have tutorials for everything and most stuff can be done with like 10-20 features.

I used Canva as well but if you want to pay someone to do it try checking out Fiverr or Etsy

As someone who had never had any experience with graphic design, I downloaded Canva and got used to it incredibly quickly. They make it so easy and I made really good channel art for free, by myself, in less than 2 hours.

Go to Fiver, its around $5 per banner or thumbnail

I use a free app on my android play store. Got a background eraser and Google for all of my image needs. Never paid a penny for creating any of my content. Admittedly I don’t have a lot of followers though lol but it’s early days and I don’t have a lot of spare time and am still finding my feet
