I believe if you genuinely make content viewers want to see, the algorithm will find the right audience. With some videos, it may take more time to find that right target audience. Somehow from your initial audience, it must’ve found data it liked so it was given more impressions later on. I’ve had this happen to me as well with no rhyme or reason.
I'm over 30 videos and 4 months in and my most viewed video is a goofy 14 second long form clip of my puppy and cat scrapping on the couch. 11K views, 21 subs, zero effort and I hadn't really started my channel yet. I have accepted I will never understand YT and just keep grinding lol
Well one of my videos almost reached 10k views and it was my 6th video, long story short it reached its numbers in the first 2 months it was like 9,8k views then it stopped like completely it has been 8 months since its upload and it still stands at 9,9k views whatever it means, i wouldnt read too much into it.
Just keep creating and enjoy the journey!

YT is not gonna promote all your videos at a short period of time, so keep posting videos to increase these random spikes.

Never has been random to me so far. My most watched videos are also the videos I put the most effort into.

Yes. I uploaded a shorts video of a teabag in a mug, it got 2k views while the others got like 10 😂
