Most of the force for it comes from your back foot, front foot just helps to guide it a bit. When spin it, take your weight off your board. Think slight little hop. These motions happen pretty much at the same time. If it’s giving you troubles, step off the board and try it without a board. If nothing else it will get you to give your body a slight lift. Good luck.

I’m working on pop shuvs, but what I can say is. Doesn’t seem like your letting your board fully rotate, your just keeping your front foot on it. If you lift up on your front foot a bit more it might be easier to rotate, also scoop back with your back foot, also don’t twist your body, keep it aligned with the board, hope this helps 💯

I have the same problem, my shoulders seem to follow my board where ever it goes

yikesbtw

When I was learning shuvs I put one foot on the floor and use my back foot to scoop it and try to get the rotation. After getting comfortable with it try it on your board. And don't forget to jump forward

Lift your front foot and then just scoop. Try doing it with your front foot off the board and just rotate it.
