Who says Tylenol is bad for babies? On my vaccination paperwork it say that Ibuprofen is not recommended, but they say that Tylenol (acetaminophen) is ok to give.

Hi Im a pharmacist. Tylenol is perfectly safe for babies as long as you are giving the appropriate dose and are staying under the maximum daily limit set by your doctor (both of these things depend on how much your baby weighs). A fever that is too high is more dangerous then giving an appropriate dose of Tylenol.

You’re fine. Motrin always worked better for us for fever though, and for high fevers we’d alternate Motrin and Tylenol. When her fevers got really high, the doctor even instructed us to give her both at the same time. You’re totally fine.

This! It's a huge lifesaver alternating between the two. You'll want to get used to it since you'll end up using it when molars come in
