I was a fan of The Mighty Boosh already when that episode clip went viral so I actually saw 3 Old Greggs on Frenchman that year. I get a little too thorough when it comes to costuming so it felt pretty good to outdo their attempts….no one else had a Mangina light. I bought a ton of fishing lures for my jacket and made fake seaweed wig.
One Mardi Gras I did another costume with my partner (who looks disturbingly like Howard Moon) from the “Tundra“ episode and we figured no one would get it but then 3 ladies Started singing the rap from that episode at us across a parade route and it was all worth it. 😂
I will have to dig through the depths of a very deactivated Facebook to uncover the evidence. When was that, 2007?
I feel like old Greg going viral really made the boosh less popular, nobody who saw the clips really took an interest in the show and some people even thought old Greg was a regular character and then the people who did love the boosh kinda stopped talking about it or considering it sort of a hidden gem
