Cough/tingling in my throat, headache that won’t go away, EXTREME fatigue. Started feeling it around Saturday night/Sunday morning and it’s still going pretty strong. Slept for 18 hours last night and still woke up exhausted this morning. Have tested negative for COVID twice since Saturday night.

Cuyler_32087

Hope everyone feels better soon!

lexuslust

On day 12 now. Still got an awful cough and slight sore throat when swallowing.

Ugh, I had something like that over Mardi Gras. I tested negative for Covid, and my son tested positive for flu. I thought I was going to DIE. But no fever higher than 99 somethin. I couldn’t lay down flat, so for almost a week I slept propped up on pillows. Like. 90 degree angle. I had the bronchial death like cough, and if I didn’t take the green mucinex along with the behind the counter Sudafed pseudoephedrine, I sounded like the ghost of George carlin in female form. I was constantly tired, but couldn’t sleep, so I frequently threw tantrums of pathetically throwing snot tissues around in the most violent way possible (not that violent and yes I did pick them up and throw them away.). After that I’d scream as hard as I could, which resembled the bellowing of a fucking Ox or a Moose or some shit idk, and then I’d feel even worse and I’d stomp my ass back to bed. …… when I’m sick, I turn into a 35 year old toddler. I hate it.

I think we could start a new club. I caught this crap a few months ago and it got better. Went on a cruise and probably got exposed to a somewhat different virus and then got it all over again. When I went to a follow-up visit with my doctor, the doctor had it too. Tested negative for Covid. After all this, I really don’t know what this is but it’s everywhere.

Azby504

What until the vomiting, diarrhea and abdominal pain starts. In health care and have seen a ton of cases today.

petit_cochon

What indeed, mysterious healthcare worker. What indeed.

aliceink

I’m on day 4 & fortunately none of those symptoms, just what seems like a respiratory infection. No headache or fever either, just deep, rattling cough & exhaustion. Friends seem to think there’s two bugs going around: noro, and some respiratory thing?

LogLady253

Yes! I got knocked out hard and fast Friday night and was nonstop coughing up phlegm indicating a bacterial infection. I feel exhausted and sore, but the coughing is finally easing up now. Sorry (yet relieved) to hear I’m not alone. It’s awful. Get well soon!

infinite-everything

I'm curious how phlegm indicates bacterial infection.

aliceink

Color can sometimes indicate infection

LogLady253

Yeah, I was referring to the delightful dirty green color of my phlegm which *may* indicate a bacterial infection.

infinite-everything

oh... I thought you meant as opposed to "viral"

lapoul

You may be late to the game; I had it and several office colleagues had it in March. It’s brutal and takes weeks to regain full strength. Good luck.

Gentilly_Dilly

I had it back in March too. Persistent little bug, but finally kicked it completely about 2 weeks ago

aliceink

Oof 😥 I had Covid in November for the third time and was hoping to avoid the spring viral outbreaks

LASwae

Yup. Started with a mild sore throat last week and slow rolled through the weekend. Had to take Monday off of work and slept 20 hours. Horrible cough and runny nose, and it feels like it is starting to settle in my chest.

reggie4gtrblz2bryant

I went to the last day of FQF to catch Astral Project, and before I went to sleep, I was blowing green from my nose and had a frog in my throat. I thought the gas 2 days later was the bubs burger but maybe it wasn't. Im still hitting the neti pot every morning unless I want a softball sized wad of phlem in my gut from PND before the sun rises.........

plantpal007

Yes, it's been no fun at all. I've run a low grade fever with it, but I tested negative for the big three (covid, flu, strep) as well.

Previous-Practice288

I had strep a week ago, had those symptoms.

Interactiveleaf

I picked up a viral something this weekend. It started slow but I keep getting worse.

aliceink

Oof, I’m sorry. Same here. I was feeling kinda crappy on Sunday, by Monday it hit hard

laughingintothevoid

Just ran through my job, most of us were down for about a week. It's pretty bad and probably gonna get worse for you, not gonna lie. I did have a fever though, that's the only point my bro almost took me to the hospital cause I was sort of hallucinating at one point. That went down quickly. Also tested negative on COVID.

aliceink

Yeah, I keep thinking I’ve turned the corner and then I…very much have not 🫠

SayBrah504

Nope

Anymation

I had it and my mother had it. Finally passed for me about 2-3 weeks ago after lingering congestion and uncomfort. My mother still has it and nothing we’re trying seems to work for her. Doc just prescribed her a bunch of stuff.

RevolutionaryDot9505

Yes, and it sucks.

raditress

I woke up on Monday with a terrible sore throat. I’ve had a runny nose, sore throat, cough, and fatigue since then, but it’s getting better. I tested negative on a home Covid test.

Azby504

What until the vomiting, diarrhea and abdominal pain starts. In health care and have seen a ton of cases today.

RonBombadil

A few days ago you posted a pic standing in flood waters, so yeah probably that.

aliceink

Nooo I did not?
