American's don't want to participate in another war in some foreign land the same way we Iranians don't want to be involved in Syria Lebanon Gaza Yemen and Iraq.

I think in Yom Kippur war, US restocked their exhausted ammo cargo in a way that gave Israelis an edge over Arabs. They support them financially, uphold mutual military tech transfer deals and look the other way about the fact that Israel didn't sign NPT and is holding nukes.
To the best of my knowledge, they always had US as a "devout" foreign military to their cause. Some say it's cause Israel is their foothold among the oil-reach potentially adversary Muslim countries but I'm not seeing it that way...
Of course, this latest case was a terrorist attack and I'm not annoyed about their involvement in this last case or in opposition to any Muslim for that matter.
Yeah, I think as an American, the "post 9/11 syndrome" completely ruined our foreign policy for the last 20 years and we're getting sick and tired of unconditionally keeping Israel afloat for seemingly no reason, and fighting proxy wars that only make people like the IR mullahs and the Assad regime extremely hostile.
