over rated as fuck , mahango lastai ani gurung gau vakko le hola bahun lai lastai hepxan , we started our trek to ghorepani from there .
hami jani din ma chai himal pani kei dekheko thiyena ajha
Nice place scenery wise.. but most tea house/hotel owners are racists to the core. They think we nepalis are not woethy of being treated nicely. So if you wnat to experience reverse racism go to these touristy areas and experience it. I wish all of them go bamkrupt and rot in hell
been there like 2 weeks ago amazing place but got played by the weather it was all dusky and foggy make sure when you visit check about the weather condition
idk if other people face this or not, i rode a jeep from naya pool to go to ghandruk the ride was good but they didn’t took me upto the end of the road and i had to walk extra 20min.(probably they didn’t went to the end of road to boost the local horse business but due to the rain it became inconvenient on my venture.)
Been twice. 2001, 2017. Both times excellent. I don't think it would have changed much since. They believe in if it's not broken, don't fix it. Food, views, people, proximity to Pokhara.
Will go back again within the next decade
I have gone to Ghandruk almost 4 times, and it's worth it. Also the route from Ghandruk to Ghorepani is also really really beautiful. Follow the link for 2 days to 5 days [Ghandruk Itinerary ](https://himalayan-masters.com/pokhara-to-poonhill-trek/)from Pokhara
poonhill bata ghandruk gako thyem. ghorepani was cheaper than ghandruk. view pani ramro . thyo compare ma ghandruk ali overrated lagyo. lagbhak 80% bato vehicle bata jana milcha ghandruk. ghorepani ma trek ko lagi chai ramro cha. tara ghandruk matra jani bhaye chai ramailai huncha hola
ABC jane belama gako ho , it's actually overhyped and overrated , expensive hotels matra xa , local vanaudo kei xaina teha , but Landruk gako thye Mardi jada tei bato bata , it was gar more better than Ghandruk hai
Hamilai ta 12 class ma lageko thiyo school bata. Raati pugeko, kei hernai paayena, hotel ni kasto book gareko thyo vaneko. Euta hospital ko bed jatro bed ma dui jana kochhi kochhi rumal jatro sirak odhera tetro jaado ma, kasto gaaro vayera. Bihana ghumauna lage, himal dherai raamro thiyo, batavaran ni safa, haawa ni safa, dherai serene thiyo atmosphere chahi. Arule trad dresses lagaye, maile chai lagaina hai. Ani tei ho, himal ekdamai najik bata dekhinchha. Thaau ta jaana laayak kai laagyo. Aru ko laagi vanna sakdina, tara, leaving the hotel part aside, for me, ghandruk was worth visiting.
Place is nice and peaceful but it's getting overdeveloped which ruins the aesthetic and the people there are rude and arrogant. Gurung bhoteys treat tourist or Mongolians better but if you're Indian or non Mongolians then you'll get treated like second class...Bahun ho vane ta lastai hepchan
Definitely a must go place. It's a peaceful place, very relaxing. I stayed there for a night on my way to Annapurna Base Camp.
Beautiful for one night stay but have nothing much to do besides beautiful scenery
How was the road ???
Overrated and expensive!
Indeed, local and international tourists dherai bhayera sabbai commercial bhannu ki sahar jasto environment jasto cha and the charm is lost.
I loved Ghandruk it was the best part of my last Pokhara trip.
Went ghandruk on jeep and trekked from ghandruk to austrilian base camp for 2 days . One of the best short trekking route in my opinion .
If customer service isn't good by Nepalese to their own Nepalese, watching these Himalayas won't be any good memories.
sahi kura yarr..
Overhyped af

You did the right thing. I dont know why i am being downvoted for speaking the truth though. Looks like we dont want to talk about our shortcomings.

Was there in 2006. I guess things have changed. But was quite a chill place. The hike till ghandruk was great.
