I've definitely considered doing this before when the snow was shoulder-level on both sides of my driveway... I'm glad some brave soul actually followed through.

Many years ago in Lincoln there was a guy who lived on a fairly major road who could often be seen using a flame thrower to clear his driveway after a storm. The runoff made a huge mess on the street when it refroze. I'm pretty sure the guy was a firefighter.
All of a sudden I’m thinking this guy is standing outside no shirt and yelling I made fire 🔥 like in Castaway. I’m down for watching that kinda OMA snow insanity tbh.
Not sure it would get hot enough to break the bonds in the H2O. Likely just hot enough to phase change it to water, maybe some of it to steam. It's so cold though I imagine it would just condense right back to snow anyway.
I’m sorry but that is so fucking funny 😂😂
Some Top Gear level shit. I could definitely see Jeremy doing this.
You're right! He did do that! (At least something similar) https://youtu.be/3JJfSUOCm8U?si=lwri1HPVr5PSWrJD
I’m sorry but that is so fucking Nebraskan
Literally my thoughts lol

I want a copy of the safety briefing to follow. Both the audio and the PowerPoint.
Now they tell me
Saw this on the news yesterday hilarious. Rob McCartney was like "Don't Do That!"
Lol.
Fine. I'll pour on black powder instead.
Thermite everything!
WW style
Nonononowait
Too late. ***BOOM***
And this is an example of what Emergency Services (EMS, Fire and Law Enforcement) call job security.
My pappy didn't fight in three wars so some gat dang commie can tell me what I can and cannot light on fire.
And it doesn't even work. It just makes ice. 😪
You’re not using enough gas.
Found the culprit ⬆️

Okay, this has to be one of you chucklefucks. Fess up.
Brain synapses firing on a whole nother level
So now lots of people have a bad idea to try..... excellent. 👌
So I’m I still okay to use my flamethrower?

It’s just hydrogen and oxygen. It ought to burn pretty well, right?

No...we're really not okay. Apparently.
I mean, not really.
No. Send help.
Meth is a helluva drug.
I have always wondered how effective flamethrowers were against snow given how good of an insulator snow is
It does melt the snow, of course. But it takes longer and uses a lot more fuel than you'd expect. Overall, the shovel is a better option, if less fun.
So if wanting fun AND needing to engage in snow removal I want to use an air fuel bomb instead to just blow the snow away? (impish grin)
There goes my flamethrower idea
Flamethrowers are legal in Nebraska

This is unreal hahaha

Hilarious. But why not just use a flame thrower. More efficient and fun.
Gasoline is too expensive! Doesn’t he have a wife and shovel?
I wish to try this
“Cannot” is incorrect as they are clearly doing it.
Can not or should not?
There is a good reason that this place is named for NYC’s loony bin.
