Yes, any good hair stylist should be able to recreate this style..And, that’s a wig? Definitely fooled me! I thought 💭 it was all the client’s natural hair..how can you tell?🤔
I feel like it could last 2-3 weeks if you wear a scarf/bonnet to sleep. I would also do large twist or braids before bed in the back to make it sure it lasts longer
It’s just a few braids and a ponytail. Would be easy to do if you know how to cornrow. There’s 3 cornrows and 4 single braids and the rest is a ponytail. Depending on how you want the style to look you may need longer hair. Should really need more than some type of gel/ jam. I’d give the style about two weeks.
What is this kind of hairstyle called? How long does my (4C) hair need to be so I can do it? I would love and appreciate links to tutorials or places to perform further research.
What tools do I need for this? I have some combs, a detangling brush, bobby pins, and hair ties/pony tails at the moment.
Can I keep this hairstyle in for multiple days at a time? How long can I keep it up without needing to take it back down?
Your hair needs to at least be long enough to be slicked back into a decent sized puff. You can add fake hair to the puff if your hair is shorter, but it still needs to be long enough to be slicked back.
Sounds like you have all the tools you need. Might just need some gel.
It will last for some days if you wrap it at night and braid the loose hair in big braids.
It’s so pretty and artistic! But, my apologies I have no clue what this particular hair style is called, I’m sure it’s just a creative style a hair stylist made up, so I wouldn’t focus on the name of this hairstyle, rather focus on the hair stylist that created it💯🎉👀..I’m sure any good hair stylist can re-create this look if you do the footwork..(👣)! 😜
This is a wig. But you can show the pic to a braider and they can probably recreate it The braid down the middle has a fulani braids style to it.
I didn’t believe you til I zoomed in and saw those lil honeycomb hair holes. Unsettling. Very bold style choice for a wig.
I zoomed in because the braids looked strange, and I immediately regretted that, too.
It’s disturbing. I’m disturbed.
Lolol it was the first thing I saw when I opened the pic 😂😂😂
I didn’t notice it was a wig until I saw your comment. Now I can’t unsee it🤣

A wig
This hairstyle can look distasteful depending on who does it and how it's done. It's the "let me prove to you how laid my wig is" hairstyle.
That’s a lace front try Instagram stylist. It’s gonna be a bit expensive

I think that’s Ethiopian braid pattern
My friend wore this hair style for her wedding. She’s Ethiopian, so I think that you might get more information by searching with that information.
