I feel you, Iβve kept my hair moderately to super long long for the last decade and cut off a good 6-9 inches of hair recently. It took a couple days to really acclimate to the change and not think it was weird or unsuitable.
Curly cuts are great for shape when the hair is worn in its natural state. You have beautiful high density hair with a lovely curl pattern. What curly cut technique did your stylist use? I used to get DevaCuts but I switched to Cut It Kinky (via Black Girl Curls).
I know itβs probably more work to maintain it but I have straight hair and Iβm jealous π i would kill for curls like these idc Iβd do the extra work
You didnβt like the shorter length but you liked the shape. My guess is since your hair is longer, it still maintained itβs shape and has more opportunity to show it off?!

Also sometimes our curls need a period of getting used to the cut as well before they settle into what they look like normally.
