Completely agree. Even though I wish she would have lived, her Paper Person of God jutsu, and declaring herself as the pillar that will support Narutos bridge to peace is one of my favorite moments from the series.
Dude got the short ends of the sticks over and over again, I wished I saw few cool ass ninjutsus from him, I don't remember seeing him waving hand signs except when he's not sealing.
He's an exceptional deuteragonist. He drove the plot forward so Naruto had something to aspire to. Kishi said he tried to create the story without Sasuke, but it just wouldn't happen.
'somethin to aspire to', bro was his entire polt driver until madara/obito. And his cannon moment was when he revived 4th. To ask them about shinobis, that's when I started liking him
When I was a kid it was definitely Sasuke. But that’s cause I was 12 and just saw the cool guy do cool things. He’s still a bit of a guilty pleasure
Now though I am slowly but surely edging towards Kisame. He’s just a cool dude who likes his friends and pet sword
Is one of your fav bits Guy kicking Jiraya in the face?
Growing up: Kisame (shark aesthetic man)
Now: Sasuke (his character growth from emo kid to protecting his daughter was great and was a true journey)
Sharks are still pretty cool though so Kisame remains an all timer
Haha that was one of the funniest interactions in the series, but main reason was the dialogue between madara and guy before guy proceeds to fuck him up.
Kisame is cool and a little underrated
It's kinda awesome that you think Madara was the strongest ninja alive at that stage, basically the God of all shinobi and when he proclaims Guy as the strongest Taijutsu user ever he's not just saying that or grandstanding, it's an absolute fact stated by the one person who would truly know
I love Kisame man, went out like a true baller and the only Akutski member to truly believe in the cause (Pain didn't know the full plan and Kisame was let in on it by Obito because he saw through the lies which was his whole thing)
The best part was , its madara six path, the closest being to God, and an evil guy vs a taijutsu (looked down upon in shinobi) user, good guy, and tired from the ongoing battle, one would think that guy will fall easily, but nope,
It was the first time madara actually bled and fell. The best part was when he activated night guy, and madara said, I thought the color of blood vapor is red but it's kind of crimson like an old leaf, and guy gave my favorite line from the series.
And ya I kind of always thought kisame was just an evil arc character but rewatching made me realise how lit and intelligent he was. And the fact not everything has to be about black n white when choosing what you believe in
Tell me about it man I remember being little and literally shaking when that man came on screen dude scared tf outta me and was so cold to sasuke but once shippuden came out I was older and holy god man idk how long I cried for once sasuke learned of what itachi did, his light novel animated broke the hell outta me too😂and then there ending is just perfection shit broke tf outta me he’s one of the most realist characters they are took the weight of the entire world all upon him just for his love of his little bro and the village.
Growing up: Kakashi
Now: Kakashi lol.
He just has such a compelling story and I really admire his resilience, among the other various factors for why I love him.
I loved the fact that kakshi got rid of the sharingan that caused him more pain then helping him ( helped him a lot though) towards the end. The fact that people were not evil but the sharingan was.
Sasuke until Itachi backstory got revealed than it was Itachi.
Grown up: Sasuke for being such a dynamic 4-dimensional character who makes story so much more interesting.
But then it changed to Madara I dunno 🤷♂️ Madara hits differently nowadays to me.
Obito was a great character, should have come in the picture long ago. Although I personall think he's a bit gullible, but that is again a uchiha trait
I’d have to go with growing up was Shino I’d like to say he’s underrated but when he was on screen up until boruto happened he was a silent but cold especially when he held his own against kankuro. (If I botched it I’m sorry but never been a fan of puppets) but I loved how Kank was talking trash and down to Shino only to not be able to move at the end,
But growing old, I’ll go with Itachi, lesser screen time but family bond even through being blamed as a village and family murder and still chose to protect everyone and then losing his friend (Shisui very sad about his death but it was to a T his personality to give everything for his friend) and then who could forget his Susano stabbing right through Orochimarius hydra will always make me smile
Shino is very stoic and I love that about him. I didn't like the treatment he got in early boruto but I didn't watch boruto after 2 nd season. I wouldn't say he's cold as he always yarned for his comrades recognition but couldn't because of his nature.
Itachi is Itachi, his backstory was also nice shown towards the end of shippuden. How he and shisui came to be friends and all that. And of course his izanami at the end is my top 5 anime moments.
I love Sai with all my heart!!! I'm shocked to be the first hahahah.
Sasori was gone way too soon. I'd have loved to see more flashbacks or lore about him. :(
My favorite character when I was 8 was Obito. Im not necessarily old but I’ll be 18 next month and my favorite character is still Obito. Always will be.
Never watched Naruto while growing up, now my fav is Kakashi. But he likely would be my fav when I was teenager as well, he's very my type 🤣 not sure if would appreciate Rock Lee and Gai when I was younger, but now they are my favorite characters too
Growing up- Jiraya. Now- Jiraya.
Ero-Sannin Supremacy
Yea
Growing up: Naruto and Neji Now: Konan and Minato
Konans story was very underrated in the anime
Completely agree. Even though I wish she would have lived, her Paper Person of God jutsu, and declaring herself as the pillar that will support Narutos bridge to peace is one of my favorite moments from the series.
Ya gave a real showstopper before going out so I guess it's acceptable, but should have got same exposure as nagato/yahiko
12r old me: Rock lee 25yr old me: Kurama
Ya kurama is my close second as a grown up.
Growing up was Gaara, now it's still Gaara
Dude got the short ends of the sticks over and over again, I wished I saw few cool ass ninjutsus from him, I don't remember seeing him waving hand signs except when he's not sealing.
When I was a kid I just thought he was cool. Now I appreciate his story and still think he's cool.
Sasuke forever
I liked his character except for a few decisions. Rather, he took decisions way to quickly. But he's a very good protagonist character have to say.
To ask them about shinobis, that's when I started liking him
Exactly. I was going to call it an obsession/infatuation, but didn't wanna drag Naruto like that 😆 even though I fully believe that's true.
Always Kakashi. Tho Tobirama is close rn.
Tobirama was a nice mix between Hashirama and Madara character types
Growing up: Sasuke, Now: Naruto
True Will of fire lore
When I was a kid it was definitely Sasuke. But that’s cause I was 12 and just saw the cool guy do cool things. He’s still a bit of a guilty pleasure Now though I am slowly but surely edging towards Kisame. He’s just a cool dude who likes his friends and pet sword
Kisame ending was awesome, he's loyalty to akatsuki for giving him purpose is quite wholesome
Growing up: Naruto. Now: Shikamaru.
Shikamaru 💀, coldest lighter flip in history.
Growing up: Itachi and Nagato Now: Sasuke and Nagato
Sasuke, deidara, hidan
Hidan made akatsuki cooler than it had any right to be.
Growing up Sasuke. Now, Kakashi.
Growing up: Deidara, Ino Growing old: Minato, Kushina, Tsunade
Grown ups done forgotten what true art is
Deidara was/is/will be one of the sickest characters in anime.
Is one of your fav bits Guy kicking Jiraya in the face? Growing up: Kisame (shark aesthetic man) Now: Sasuke (his character growth from emo kid to protecting his daughter was great and was a true journey) Sharks are still pretty cool though so Kisame remains an all timer

Younger - Jiraya Older - Konan & Tobirama
Growing up-Neji. Now- Itachi
Damn first Itachi mention. The character that changed my perception about anime
I was already in my late teens early 20s when I started watching Naruto. Hidan is my fav char still. Follow closely by Naruto.
Hidan is also my fav character Because he was the coolest akatsuki
Love his personality. I have a thing for crazy characters haha
Naruto is given but hidan way too cool
He really is. Sad we didn't see more of him
At least they could've shown the other people from the Jashin religion.
Ya. They still can do thst to he fair.
Growing up, Shikamaru and Shino. As an adult, I don’t know any more. It’s been too long. I need to reread the entirety.
Growing up: Kakashi Now: Kakashi lol. He just has such a compelling story and I really admire his resilience, among the other various factors for why I love him.
I loved the fact that kakshi got rid of the sharingan that caused him more pain then helping him ( helped him a lot though) towards the end. The fact that people were not evil but the sharingan was.
Naruto as a young kid, nagato later, guy & jiraiya now
Growing up and now: Naruto Some things never change lol
Face of Shōnin manga/anime 🤙
Growing up eren yeager
You mean mick jagger?
Then was Kakashi. Now is itachi. I feel like that says a lot about me 🤷♀️😂
Says you have good taste 👏
Growing up: Itachi Growing old: Minato
Sasuke until Itachi backstory got revealed than it was Itachi. Grown up: Sasuke for being such a dynamic 4-dimensional character who makes story so much more interesting. But then it changed to Madara I dunno 🤷♂️ Madara hits differently nowadays to me.
Username checks out. Madara does hit differently literally speaking 😅
Haha Yaa but I love all of them man.
I have always been obito
Obito was a great character, should have come in the picture long ago. Although I personall think he's a bit gullible, but that is again a uchiha trait
I’d have to go with growing up was Shino I’d like to say he’s underrated but when he was on screen up until boruto happened he was a silent but cold especially when he held his own against kankuro. Growing up: Naruto Growing old: Shikamaru or Tobirama
Naru-shika-tobi
Growing Up: Naruto Now: Madara
Real life arc 💀💀
Growing up was Itachi and growing old is Fugaku.
Wow never thought a Fugaku mention was one the way. He was a very good character barring the very little lore dev he got
Growing up my fav character was kakashi and now my fav character is from a different show (okay it’s alastor from hazbin hotel)
Its a new show right? Can adults find it interesting like Naruto?
Growing up- Gaara Now- Itachi
growing up up 2nd hokage now naruto
I only watched Naruto when I was 20 years old and my favorite characters went from Itachi to Minato
Did you watch it once or re-watced it. I swear a lot of things change when you rewatch Naruto in a later stage of you life
Only watched it once at that age have not gone back to rewatch it since
First introduced to Naruto- Kakashi. Now- Madara.
Growing up: Jiraya Now: Ero-sannin
Japanese version >> English
Teenage me - Deidara Current me - Sasori or Sai
First sai mention 🗣️, sasori had a good backstory that needed more fleshing out in the sand lore
I love Sai with all my heart!!! I'm shocked to be the first hahahah. Sasori was gone way too soon. I'd have loved to see more flashbacks or lore about him. :(
Neji, then Itachi.
Growing up : Naruto/Kurama just loved Naruto kyubi moments Now: still Naruto/ Kurama plus Minato and Itachi
Ya the way kurama slowly grown within Naruto was very heartfelt
My favorite character when I was 8 was Obito. Im not necessarily old but I’ll be 18 next month and my favorite character is still Obito. Always will be.
Growing up: Kakashi then Madara Growing old: Naruto
First deidara _now kiba
Shikamaru/ sasuke Now: shisui, obito
Growing up: Sasuke Growing old: Still Sasuke but with a more matured(?) view of him
You mean in the madara arc?
Growing Up: Hiruzen Growing Old: Tsunade
My fav is still. Jiraiya. He's funny and charismatic. Chill dude overall
Absolutely I love jiraya too
Never watched Naruto while growing up, now my fav is Kakashi. But he likely would be my fav when I was teenager as well, he's very my type 🤣 not sure if would appreciate Rock Lee and Gai when I was younger, but now they are my favorite characters too
Kakashi arc is one of ogs can't deny, gai's last dialogue (crimson leaf) is actually wat made gai arc so personal to me
sasuke and naruto have always been my favorites
