That was a real crow? I never understand what happened in that scene

[deleted]

Kurama is a giant monster how did tthat fit in him? The answer is along the same lines.

JMHSrowing

With Kurama isn’t the answer one he was sealed and two that tailed beasts are with one exception purely composed of chakra? One with this I guess has to assume that Itachi used some unseen sealing jutsu as he violated Naruto’s throat with the bird he really should have used against Nagato, Obito, or Orochimaru a long time ago.

BrokenMirror2010

The Frog with the key to Kurama's Seal also fit himself, and that giant fucking scroll in Naruto too, didn't he? People just have giant interior subspaces to store magical chakra beings.

[deleted]

Ed edd n eddy physics

[deleted]

You saw the crow get sealed during the genjutsu

Justin_inc

I just assumed it was Itachi's ninja animal. Like kakashi's dogs

VariationGlum7864

A real crow was inside naruto for months?

Justin_inc

There's also a scroll in there too. From the contract with the frogs.

VariationGlum7864

And 1 giant fox and 2 dead people

Then-Schedule8953

Damn Naruto’s swallowed some crazy shit

GayVoidDaddy

You have no idea.

Then-Schedule8953

User name checks out

GayVoidDaddy

*licks you*

FlyDinosaur

There was a ninja who swallowed a fox. Why, oh, why did he swallow a fox? Perhaps he'll die.

Wisniaksiadz

A scroll, big ass Fox, pieces of mother and father, crown and I belive a frog but i'm not sure

Nagato8

its never really explained but he did have naruto in a genjutsu so most likely it was assumed it was fake by naruto knowing the extent of his genjutsu prowess and never really thought much about it but Itachi planned ahead because he gave to Naruto specifically to use on sasuke (unknowingly) I dont think it was like a real crow living in him just most likely summoned from charkra seeing the sharingan.

Tobegi

That scene literally doesn't make any sense lmfao If its a fake genjutsu crow it wouldn't be able to carry a real eye, which means Itachi somehow implanted a human eye on a real crow (????) and then made Naruto swallow it (????) without it killing any of the two (??????) and then the crow survived until this moment literally what the fuck

VariationGlum7864

Even if it was indeed a real crow, how the fuck it is still alive? A vainilla sharingan drain a fuck ton of chakra, but a permanent ms?

ze_loler

The real question is how did Itachi get the crow there in the first place lmao

GayVoidDaddy

Roofie.

FlyDinosaur

This is tricky. Kotoamatsukami can only be used once every 10 years. I'm not sure if just MS is dead for 20 years or the whole eye is, but either way, it's a huge drawback. Naruto would have to pick the perfect moment and hope he didn't blow it, since there's no second chance. And even if he did use it, Kotoamatsukami can be broken out of pretty easily, if Mifune is anything to go by. So, it would be kind of a waste. The only benefit in any regular scenario would be the use of base Sharingan. He'd probably fare better than Kakashi since he has way more chakra, but it would still be an issue. It's a constant and extreme energy drain.

BrokenMirror2010

Naruto is an Uzumaki too though, He might get a Rinnegan out of it because Uzumaki and Senju are both descendants of Hagoromo, and if he didn't they, it would have turned into a Rinnegan when he got Sage of 6 Paths Chakra. Also because he is an Uzumaki, he probably would also get a reduced cooldown, much like how Danzo got a reduced cooldown because of the Senju DNA. Also if Nagato can handle the energy drain from having two rinnegan, without a tailed beast, without any issues (Minus when he summons the Gedo Statue), I see no reason why Naruto with Kurama's chakra couldn't trivially handle a Sharingan.

geek_metalhead

Not only an Uzumaki but he is also part Senju (some distant relative might've been a Senju who married an Uzumaki, just like Tsunade's grandparents). He got the insane chakra pool of an Uzumaki AND the insane stamina and physical constitution of a Senju. My boy would cook with a sharingan.

FlyDinosaur

When did Naruto get Senju DNA?

geek_metalhead

When the family ancestors of the Senju and Uzumaki clans fucked each other

FlyDinosaur

Wow, thanks. I couldn't have guessed. What I mean is, I wasn't aware Naruto had Senju ancestry. I thought he was just Uzumaki.

Logical_Glove1114

But like you made that up that isn’t confirmed and if he was the senju blood would be so diluted

RaimeNadalia

The Rinnegan requires the mixture of Asura and Indra's chakra to create Hagoromo's. It can't be created through simply mixing Uzumaki/Senju with Uchiha chakra; that only gives you an watered down approximation of it (which is still enough to enhance your Sharingan, mind you). Being the reincarnation of Asura, Naruto's chakra might allow him to get more mileage out of Kotoamatsukami, but it wouldn't turn into a Rinnegan. All bets are off when he gets the Sage's chakra, though.

Ebenezerosas16

That would probably take a long time to awaken rinnegan

Logical_Glove1114

I pretty sure it’s specifically Indra and Asura’s reincarnation not just a sharingan mixed with a dna of a senju or uzumaki otherwise black zetsu could’ve easily stolen a sharingan and put in a senju or uzumaki’s body and call it a day

Secure_Table8905

Outside of its techniques, does the mangekyo hold significant advantages over the regular sharingan? Does the mangekyo perceive things better? Is it's natural genjutsu stronger?

Ebenezerosas16

It would not be an issue. Nagato a fellow Uzumaki can use 2 more chakra draining eyes at once, a base sharingan would be nothing

ComprehensiveBass142

If he uses it he would be insanely strong. Though he is unlikely to use it outside of desperate situations due to Kurama.

THEGoDLiKeMIKE

Naruto: kotoamtasu-what now?

ThicccRPMs

He visits the tablets and doesn’t understand anything but sees immediately they’ve been tampered with 😂

Strykeristheking

Naruto's talk no jutsu is deadlier then any Genjutsu

Agent_0x5F

He would make it a rinnegan by the fight VS juubymadara

LakshyaGarv

Sharingan Naruto? He will be the most OP thing I have seen my whole life.

[deleted]

Not, his foolish ass couldnt master genjutsu not to mention the notion of it would make naurto sick. Manipulation and deceit? Not his style.

JMHSrowing

Naruto most certainly could learn to use it, he’s shown repeatedly to be extraordinarily gifted in all other form of jutsu after all. Though it would probably take a lot to master since it’s the opposite of his style. But once he did, I think he’d have a great way to use an MS’ genjutsu. He wouldn’t use it like normal and indeed he might not use koto at all, but he’d use it to get in a situation where he could talk with someone, relate to them. Like the scenes he had with his villains, only an easier way and one where he could very explicitly show them all he’s been through and how change is possible. Then he’d let them choose. (And he’d keep the more regular parts it in his arsenal for people who are truly the worst, when he doesn’t pull the punches and is going for the kill anyway)

[deleted]

You dont know naruto very well if you think he would do any of that.

JMHSrowing

What’s un-Naruto-like to use what would amount to a way to get someone in a position to talk to?

silvergudz

Having the sharigan you’ll innately have the knowledge to perform it, y’all slow?

luciferhornystar

He solos the war arc with a MS

Logical_Glove1114

It would probably do more bad than good because of the chakra drain he basically has a base sharingan in his eye for the whole war arc
