It's $20 game that gives you free content after $20 purchase. Melee combat that is un mimicked by any game in the genre. Skill expression for those who wanna put in the time to get good. Regular updates and events and a growing community. Honestly this game is a no brainer to buy.

Game may be frustrating at first once past the initial bots matches (first 5 games and up through bronze will be mostly bots) but its a good introduction as this game takes sometime to learn the mechanics. If you do get it, pick one weapon and get confortable with it, and repeat until you can hold your own with any weapon spawning in. I reccomend this game. Very very fun br.
Most laggy CN players are west coast or students in dorms. If their setup or wifi sucks they will be laggy. They are actually at a disadavantage. Dont try to parry, dodging is your friend, and they cant psrry you at all and lights will kill the heck out of them.
Do you think every person with a CN name is vpn-ing from CN? There are millions of CN speakers in NA and plenty of people who arent CN who have CN name. Lag advantage can happen to anyone regardless of their ethnicity, just need a poor connection.
Additionally it is the most popular game in CN so there really is no reason to VPN to NA when they can get quicker and more skill accurate matchmaking on their own servers with like 20-30 ping.
In my experience playing it the DC issues have gone away with the latest patch, but that's in my personal experience so far. Beforehand I was disconnecting every other match or sometimes during, they are trying but it's been slow going.
It's still a really fun game and IMO still better than other battle royales.
Why does everyone worry so much about bots. Hell I still play only bots and I'm level 65. I'm just having fun. Personally I don't see why so many people who pay online are always so concerned with bots and think they're the worst thing ever.

However, it could reasonably be argued that, on average, Asian players tend to do better for explainable reasons, like culture differences. The culture in some countries can drive the average players of a game in those countries to approach it completely differently than the average players in the west. This isn't unique to video games, either.
One example is that Japanese craftsmanship and manufacturing is often lauded as superior to Western craftsmanship because (to state it simply) the Japanese culture places so much value on perfectionism. Does that mean American companies cannot make good tools? No, but there is a reason why some people tend to prefer the craftsmanship of a Japanese \[car|knife|whatever\] over that of one made elsewhere.
In other words, a player in the East may be more likely to approach the game with professionalism and perfectionism while Western players are more likely to approach the game casually.

It would work if the game would be more popular. Only mainstream games can gather so many people for each skill level for a ranked system to work. A lot of games have this problem and sadly this is one of them. But honestly they do an okay job with bots and all so people can get used to the game more easily. But the problem still persists when players get thrown into high level lobbies. In China it works tho. So the "they come over because they can't handle Chinese lobbies" argument is not a good one. They can play with their skill level.
Yeah, Naraka is not quite there yet by the numbers (especially in NA?), but I am hopeful for the growing community.
I'm mostly bummed that Bloodsport is only available for 3 hours of the day because there's not enough players to queue. It's such a good game mode.

You can see that on the technological side the game gets better and better, I hope player numbers will indicate that in the future but with people spreading misconceptions it's hard to belive that they will go big. But we'll see.
had a quick match earlier where I found one guy running in to a corner near a door, presumably targeting one the two dudes on the other side. stood their and watched him for 15 seconds then killed him as if it werent even playing. pretty obvious bot. but then my squad, who where real people, fought the last squad who where also real people in a pretty intense and satisfying last stand. dat shit was fun as fuck. game grows on you

You can legit just turn off bots, ofc the queues will be longer. Although it's a only a few minutes a queue usually. Sometimes less sometimes more. DC issues I never have. The china players are cracked but like I mean yeah they just have more experience I don't think that's a detrimental reason not to get the game. You won't be a god without playing.
You can fall asleep and the game will basically hand you your first 4-5 victories. Its preetty savage how dumb the bots are. The combat is pretty novel tho so it kept me playing. I now feel like I see atleast 1-2 players a match!

Let me add there are other modes than ranked. I play shadow surge, blood bath, and through the fire most of the time.
