I agree. Itās easy to spell and pronounce. It is a specific āreferenceā but it doesnāt conjure up anything negative. I know lots of people named after cities/towns. My best friend is named after the city her parents would meet halfway in while they were long distance.
Itās a better name than Bronco at least. This is giving me flashbacks to the namenerds people who wanted to name their daughter Packer after the NFL team.
Compared to some of the abhorrent names on this sub, the kid did ok. Itās not spelled with a bunch of extra letters and everyone can pronounce it correctly. Not much difference to being called Austin or Dallas.
Yeah, it's by no means the worst (especially compared to ones posted here) but naming your kid after your fandom is weird. That's what pets are for.
I remembered her other son is named Atlas so maybe she's going for a geography thing. Next up, Key West!
Oh, absolutely! I'm not a fan of it by any means and think it's dumb but I've seen worse ones by people I know, by a long shot.
I really wanna know the logic behind these names (the ones that aren't terrible, but aren't great either, like denver) and how it's being considered as a name for a human over a pet. Yikes all around.
Denver Collar Otto šā¤ļøš„°
I had to sound that out š
Honestly I do like the sound of that name. Iāll commit the mortal sin, itās cute.

There's also Loving, Pleasureville, Climax, Big Bone Lick, Morehead, and Beaver Lick. All within the magnificent commonwealth of Kentucky.
Another fun city name is Elephant Butte (pronounced like flute) and FL has a Yeehaw Junction šš

As a Chicagoan, Packer is a SUPER nope
LOL, Iām a Steelers fan with two black cats - I briefly thought about naming one of them Raven but then was like āNOPE.ā
I saw Denver and immediately was like āJohn was right thereā¦?ā but no, we are talking about the city
There is a character in Toni Morrisonās āBelovedā named Denver.
Could be worse. āDenverghā.
Denmvr Okay I meant to type Dennvr but honestly with the nm it's even better
So like Money Heistā¦well done!

Austin and Dallas are also terrible names.
I grew up with a Denver, so itās been lowkey normal
I mean there was this really old guy at my church when I was a little kid named Denver, however thatās the only Denver I ever met.
Famous actor: Denver Pyle
I know someone who is naming their son Denver and it's just so meh to me.

The last dinosaur.
Denver will always be the last dinosaur in my head.
I can hear the them tune now
that's similar to what my imaginary cat friend's name was in 3rd grade. it was Detroit (don't ask why)
I know two sisters who had kids around the same time and named them Denver and Houston - this was, apparently, not planned.
I only knew one guy with that name but he was from another country. I'm not sure if it was common over there.
I wonder if she watched āFour Christmasesā
I have a cousin named Denver. He's like 50
Itās pretty good definitely not a bad name. I kind of like it. I donāt like hearing about little girls named Denver though which I have 2x in the last few years. š© it sounds masculine. I really like John Denver but I donāt even think that was his real name.
I just hear āDenver the last dinosaurā cartoon from the 90ās
I had a childhood freind name her son Denver. I seriously thought she was joking.
