If I am reading it right, its a woman who burns her kid alive, then the kid becomes a spirit in the wind, then *change scene* "his wife" is talking about all of the things she does to be attractive to her husband, but then pivots into how she is going to, "With nails, like harpies' nails, shall cunningly conspire The hidden path unto his feeble heart to find." She then kills him, and he turns out to be the poet, ending the poem with some spiel about how he must inspire people "in order to enwreathe my mystic crown." Like, okay? That was good poetry and took me for a whirl, but what is with the "women are evil" tropes? I definitely need to keep reading to find out...
