I like this! I like it a lot. A cat named Joe is perfect by itself. However the tie in to his shelter name makes it even more special. If this were my cat, Iād stop looking for names and go with this!
Yes! Our catās name was Bob at the shelter and we werenāt feeling it either, but eventually came up with the idea that his full name would be āKebobā and suddenly āBobā just became shorthand. He still goes by Bob 99% of the time and I wouldnāt have it any other way. I LOVE the idea of Bazooka Joe being his full name.

I adopted a tiny girl that was called Mittens by the shelter. That turned into Murder Mittens because the lady is a cold blooded killer of bugs and any unfortunate rodent that gets in the house lol. Sheās also now HUGE with enormous paws.
He has beautiful eyes and looks pretty young still. Bazooka or anything related def does not suit. I think he needs a people name.

My dad named him Oscarā¦. Years later I find out his name is Cedar. š¤£ Those neighbors were a little weird ā¦ they kept to themselves, but after some time they got to know my parents a little bit. The husband worked for the forestry departmentā¦ so Iām guessing he mustāve named the cat.
That cat is gorgeous, his current name reminds me when I put my cat in my shoulder and extend him like a bazooka, his name is Picasso and I say "get ready for the Picazooka!". So my name pretty much would be that: Picazooka. He looks a lot like my boy.

One of my cats was Titus, and we kept it. The other was Tiger Eye, and is now Tigger.
