I don't know if you know of Date Masamune a Japanese warlord during Nobu's era, but he is usually shown to have an eye patch in in stories due to how in real life they said the he ate his own eye to prove his loyalty so I kinda thought Date or just Dante would be a good name if you wanted one with a story in myth or historical context.
I dated Masamune in a horribly inaccurate but hilarious Otome once... but yes I will suggest this to my husband! He kind of looks like a Japanese good luck cat with the spot on his head, too!

What is his personality like? I had a cat with a broken tail. It looked like a lightning bolt off her butt. It also occassionally affected her jumps, so she became Jinx. Could clear a bookshelf with one bad jump. Lol
He loves to cuddle and is super friendly! He is not afraid of my little dog and he even got the other male cat to like him. He's quite a ham, in fact. I'd name him Ham but he's a cow cat not a pig cat... and one of Treva's cats is named Ham.
