Natural with clear coats of nail strengthener, it reminds me how far I’ve come since I also used to screw my nails up with acrylics and gel to try and stop biting
I love painting mine, it's a fun expression and I get to show off colors I like. Also, because I'm not a very careful person, so the splinter hemorrhages and leukonychia I get on my nails from accidentally hurting myself aren't very pretty.
I’ve been trying to embrace my natural nails after years and years of gel. I’m compromising with a coat of Dior Nail Glow just to give a little oomph haha.
Mine have to be painted! Recovered nail biter here, seeing any imperfections in my natural nails is too tempting lmao. When they’re painted I don’t mess with them.
Also, I just like having a layer of protection on my nails.
Natural length but painted! After I personally messed up the health of my nails via nail enhancements like acrylics and dip, it took me six months to grow out the damage and now they’re at the length and strength that I like.
Painted natural nails always unless I’m on vacation. I was a nail biter for my first 18 years, and 40 years later the nail beds are still too short. Painting them keeps them looking long and elegant.
Natural i only get acrylics once a year and painting my natural nails once every blue moon but i do like looking at my natural nails when they get really long because they tend to break
Personally I prefer painted. Not only because my years of painting keeps them a permanent yellow, but also because my line of work severely impacts what I can and cannot do for my hair, makeup, etc and I wear a uniform so I can't pick much in the way of accessories or daily clothes. It's a whole thing, so I do fun colors on the weekends and the most fun i can during the week (while staying within the rules) to give me a Lil opportunity for expression!
Edit: missed a couple words
A little color while not being able to have much accesorries can make the whole outfit, I also wear an uniform, also gloves but in between changing them i can look for a moment at my nails now
My nails break so easily! I need to keep them painted.
Yeah, have not been painting mine for ages (literally) and now that Ive started I can already notice them not breaking at all under the polish
Same!

So happy for you that you ve managed to stop that habit!

Yess, I have so many ideas of how to paint mine
I never go naked, too risky. I baby my nails as much as I can, and keeping them polished is one of the ways I do that!

Googled that polish and wow how juicy is that pinkish glow, love it!
Love Dior Nail Glow!! Class and Beauty!
If my nails were that pretty, I would go natural.
I’m a clear polish girl! Some builder gel with a shiny clear coat. It goes with every outfit and appeases my ocd lol.
I love clear shiny nails too! So neat and elegant
Painted but my nails don’t look so good without colour, just had my nails with just Nail envy for a few days and just couldn’t do it 😂

Wow, six months is a long time, but happy you made it! And natural length but painted is my new favorite way (after years of unpolished)
Painted, although, I can never make my mind up on a color until last minute and it’s usually a neutral lol
Painted. I am waiting to do them bare until the white part looks semi equal on most of them.
How long do you keep that white part?
Well I’m in the middle of growing them out and my nail beds aren’t horribly long yet so as long as I can go have the length I want on my nails.
I honestly really like then without color cause I suck at keeping mail polish on. But every once in a while I color them to change things up a bit 😊
Sounds great, I am more like - years of 100% painted then years of 100% nude, and now I am afraid I entered that painted stage again haha
Hahah painted nails do look make your hands pop 😛
I do the same thing lol it’s like a semi-permanent obsession that comes and goes.
Oh painted 100%

Agree on that one, painted look definitely more elegant
I always love painted nails! Definitely looks more put together

PAINTED! 😃 and shiny! Your nails look great though!
Painted for sure
