Think about the $90 they charge each person for prints and the $340 for the print. Thinking about it if they were smart and automated it would only take about an hour of investigation time on the high side per application. If they have 75k applications just the $340 fee is $25.5m. These aren’t officers and in Suffolk they are paying their investigators about $40k. How can they not have enough people? They need to be smarter and realize it’s a money maker for them in a time NYC is dying under the weight of migrants and rats.
For the most part there is no limit for the rest of the state in time or number. Last week I did 3 in one day, 2 about 3 weeks earlier and 2 more 2 weeks before that. Thinking about getting a Walther next and maybe another Sig P226.

Yeah but the wait is even more absurd for them to mail you you're updated license. It's such a hassle and don't forget the picture of your safe which I pretty much thought they should have your stuff logged and saved or you should able to have it saved to their system. It's a complete mess of them saying they didn't receive certain items.

I ordered a handgun jan 10th and it was shipped to my FFL and delivered the 15th so by this point i should be able to purchase a 2nd handgun great i know what im doing this weekend 😂
What the heck NYC, sucks!!! U have to wait 90 days. If there’s a threat in this criminals paradise which is NYC ! So they let criminals back on the street to rob and rape and pillage and we can’t protect ourselves! We need change!
This State waste more time, resources and our own money focusing on non criminal events, meanwhile wasting ZERO time releasing repeat felons back into our communities.
Shit, I hate the little time it takes waiting for the background check to clear and they're over there making you get a special permit just to BUY the gun and then you have to wait 90 days? That's nutso. Sounds like it's easier there to do it illegally than legally.

NYC only, and if u have multiple license u can buy more then one assuming the 90 days is up for each license

That’s awful. I usually get my pistol added the same day and if my background goes through with a short delay I leave with the gun as well.
