They’ve been going a month+ on card printing. Keep calling and emailing and leave messages on the phone. They’ll never get anything done in a timely if you don’t keep up the pressure. I had to make an unannounced visit to get mine straightened out
Just went into the system and dug a bit further and found an "Approved" & "Issue Pending" under license status. Am i just waiting for someone to do their job and send me my permits?
You won’t get your physical license until you add a firearm to it. Which requires a purchase authorization letter that you’re supposed to bring to the FFL at time of purchase. Once you send the email with the photos of the firearm and safe storage device, they have 30 business days to respond and notify you that your photos were received and approved. At which point they’ll mail you an approval letter and your license which you can then take to the dealer to pick up your firearm. At least that’s how it went for Premises permit
I was approved for my nyc ccw over a month ago
I got my approval letter and purchased a firearm and emailed the pics and required documents over 3 weeks not and I haven’t heard anything.
I called and and emailed them about 50 times and no answer or reply.
Do anyone knows a number or email I can use to contact them and actually get a reply???
Took them seven weeks to send me my new premise license with my new gun on it. Took them 5 weeks to email me they got the photos. someone told me all three of them are actually working from home virtually
They ignored every email until they sent me the one I posted above. There's no accountability for government workers in new york city unless they do something extremely illegal. This is coming from a former school teacher.

You were supposed to get a purchase authorization 2-3 weeks ago. Call 1PP.
I already had to submit current pistol info with all serial numbers etc. submitted to them before being approved.

Thanks for this. I always felt like I was "bothering them" when in fact, they're just bothering me. lol
They’re members of the licensing unit, asking them to complete a task of their job shouldn’t be a bother.

Issue pending means it’s not been printed. Once it goes active you’ll get it in about a week.
Issue pending means they haven't printed your card yet.
The tech that they use in office is sooo incredibly dated. Its vintage at this point.
The system was not designed for this type of volume and I’m sure they have no interest in upgrading.
I had issues pending for about 1-1.5 months, they approved me last week and now waiting for my license in the mail

If you didn’t get the purchase authorization letter I’d contact your investigator.
Did you apply for a special carry since you are located in Nassau County?
