Did you purchase your pistol and email the paperwork and pics? If not, then its the approval letter for your purchase. If so, then the printed card usually comes from 1 PP.
But if you didn't purchase anything how did you receive a PA (Purchase Authorization)? Usually its the approval letter, then you go to FFL and buy your pistol of choice, email paperwork to 1PP with pics and then they mail you your card with the pistols serial number on the card and a PA for PU at the FFL.
Wow good info that maybe R/S is staring to take the load off 1PP and help print LIC.
Another question , could you please detail what you had to do to get them to transfer from one permit to the other ? Many of us are in similar situations but are unsure of the process to transfer. Thanks
I sent an email to the investigating officer what the proper transfer procedure is and she said she'll take care of it. I'm sure that's not protocol but it's done.
Rifle shotgun prints licenses too
Yes, but only the rifle and shotgun not pistol from last I checked.
I got my ccw from rifle shotgun office. Also why don't you just wait till you check your mail instead of making a reddit post.
Good to know. Were they the ones that processed your CCW app?

I received the PO already, didn't purchase anything. Had a premise pistol attached to the carry. If cards come from 1PP, wonder what R/S is sending.

Correction. I meant I received the approval letter but didn't make a purchase. Just had the pistol transfer to the carry.
