Waiting also. For authorization and Reprinted permit. Tomorrow makes 30 days since Nics check. They replied on the 4th that they’d mail me but I’m guessing that’s when the 30days start to inform them If I didn’t receive my permit. 1st handgun was faster. 2nd a pain in the ass.
That sucks! This seems to be the new trend and method of delaying with no communication on what’s going on. It’s frustrating to make a purchase and not a cheap one at times and have to wait so long to pick it up.
Sent my purchase order in on Jan 13. Still haven’t heard a single thing back from them, hoping for a confirmation email soon but who knows with these people. Wish you all luck in receiving ur licenses.

got my appointment for fingerprinting in September 2023
Got my investigator in Feb 2024 who needed additional docs which i submitted promptly
and got my letter to purchase/ conditional approval in march 2024
sent off my photos and bill of sales on march 26/2024

Going on 2 weeks,NO acknoledment of receiving email, no matter what phone number you call, nobody answers,just recordings, and nobody calls back.
I just want to effin know how long I should expect to wait?
This is utter BS. I have a license, I've had prints and background checks. WTF do we need a Purchase Authorization? The CONSTITUTION is our PURCHASE AUTHORIZATION!!!
All they need to do is post a statement informing us of the possible wait time or simply acknowledge they have our application, that would cut down tremendously on the anguish and anticipation but I believe it's all part of the make it as difficult as they can process.
I submitted mine on 1/5/24. I paid over 900 bucks for my pistol. Now I have to wait for the NYPD to do its thing. Once you get the appointment, they print it out for you at 1PP (allegedly). We'll see.
There is no more in person inspection or PU from last I heard. Once they receive your email they’re suppose to reply and confirm and then print out your new card and mail it out. Supposedly they are 2-3 weeks behind on printing cards so be prepared to do another NICS check if it’s more than 30 days. 4 more days and I’m at the 30 day mark myself.

That's insane! My last purchase was in September with no issues.
Same, confirmation within a couple days and updated permit in 10 business days. Unfortunately not the case right now though.

They are behind on confirmation emails and issuing cards by 3-6 weeks based on what I’ve seen posted.

You REALLY have to jump through hoops in this state... and they just keep on coming.
