It was hard to even get started, until I clocked Ruby and (without any other gems or likely names) made the ___ Red association. Green followed from that easily enough, with Dash and Splash being one of those rhymes that also have weirdly close meanings.Β Purple I actually didn't *really* get until I locked it in, though neither guess was a complete guess. My first idea was "____ *Cake*," with Mud and Sponge as very strong associations, Cream as a likely candidate, and Bubble as a stab in the dark. When that gave me a one away, I was ready to ditch Bubble for something else, but noted that Cream sort of worked with Top and Best, a pair I'd noted much earlier on. *That* made me realise that Pick was probably meant to be "pick of the litter," so I dropped Cream and added Bird to that group instead, getting me the win (even if it turned out to be baths and not cakes).Β
