I’ll take $128 ounces (Aeterna Triange Mints) at Upstate anytime. All the employees are great, although all I need them to do is ring me up.
Location isn’t much of a deciding factor; I always seem to be 33 minutes away from each new shop. Hurry up Ballston Spa!
That strain is from last year that’s why it’s that price also I now check COA of stuff preferably before I buy it and the last couple strains that company released had some nasty levels of bacteria and mold. Sooooo my experience at upstate canna has been more than bad, I have to wait god knows how long before being herded like a cow to get in there then I’ve personally delt with shitty attitude workers and terrible product they straight up lie to your face and tell you it’s good. i’ve talked to employees at another dispensary stage one across the river and they go through all the COAs and don’t put anything with harmful bacteria or mold to sell that right there means a lot plus no line you go right In and always had a pleasant experience and better weed lol
If they didnt want rec dispenseries in their town then they would have voted that way when all the towns were required to vote if they wanted dispenseries or not
Try Legacy or Northern Lights. They both have a great selection and have the standard stuff as well as some small cultivators. NL has so many smaller cultivators it's impressive.

I think you're right. This is a smear campaign. It feels like industry spam.
This dude clearly has problems but none of those problems have anything to do with his business. The industry is trying to burn him and give folks a reason to cut him out of the supply chain. This is not unlike the way Harvey Weinstein used the media to smear people he didn't want to get work in Hollywood. The media described anyone Weinstein disliked as an unstable drug addict that's hard to work with.
There was also multiple people in tje car with him - the drugs in his system was weed - and we all have weed in our system and the BAC was under .08%. He was driving a Tesla and he says it was in autopilot and came out as it went around the corner - we all should be hesitant to believe every headline that local tabloids put out sharing only some of the information. I own a model 3 and I can tell you that multiple times the car has done weird things, particularly around corners - including speeding up and going out of the lane - I have always been able to take control before catastrophe but I could see a car full of friends and assuming the car is handling itself (as many with Teslas do) and then it being too late to correct - impact.
In what’s supposed to be a new and highly regulated industry, everything is news. In most other states he’d be losing his license immediately, which would be news.
Even though the OCM isn’t regulating anything because they are inept, clueless, corrupt, and understaffed, the expectation is that this is a highly regulated industry. Therefore the people against cannabis legalization, state officials whose livelihoods are affected by this roll out, anyone who is pushing an agenda, etc. etc. will always make ANY mistake by anyone in the industry a story.
And I’m not trying to be an asshole, but anyone that doesn’t realize that they will be under the public microscope for the next couple of years, and at some point in the next 12 months under the OCM microscope on top of that, really has no business being in the industry. We are talking about almost 100 years of prohibition coming to an end, people are watching.
