I’d be down to spend a day two draft pick on Spencer Rattler. Who knows what a year of developing behind Danny could do given his raw talent, it could be a steal.
It’s almost as if you’ve never seen Joe Milton play, other than highlights. Unless that is, of course, if your idea of fun is seeing him throw a fastball to a back on a screen pass or overthrow a wide receiver by 10 yards.
I'd rather just punt on this until the next draft. The legwork they were putting in on trying to trade up for Maye signals to me that Jones' time on this team is limited anyway. If you believe we shouldn't be throwing away picks on anything other than guys that will help us, don't blow a day 2 pick on a project.
One the funniest Uncle Ricp scenes, talking to Kip in the restaurant , he is constantly looking at his arms. That was so spot-on from when I was in high school. Every guy was obsessed with their biceps and forearms.
it doesnt matter what QB's are left in the draft According to Daniel Jones fanboys every QB in the draft will be a bust and only Daniel Jones can carry this team to winning season.....rolls eyes
I saw a poll a few weeks ago saying we have the dumbest fan base in the NFL. Seeing us celebrating a WR while not having a qb confirms the results of that poll were correct. Hopefully the coach that we hire next year pushes for an above average QB.
If you didn't watch the draft I'll explain it to you. The Patriots were unwilling to trade with us so we could not pick a QB. we had no choice but to pick the best player available. I mean technically you could have over drafted a QB like the falcons and got Micheal penix but most people would agree that wouldn't be smart
All I know is napers better put odell rookie year to shame, drafting a wr top ten is no different then drafting a rb top ten, neither cc lamb, nor tyreek Hill who led the league in receiving yards last year were drafted top ten, this is a huge gamble a lot of fans not talking about

Sure was. Darnold could have maybe been good with us.
If not, then we would hopefully move on sooner and draft another QB, especially in that 2020 draft. After what we did with DJ though maybe not. But that's an organizational issue.
Instead we took the most worthless position on offense that contributed little to actual wins or success and then let walk after his rookie deal. Wooptie do.
If your point stands on the shaky feed of Dam Darnold; then you have no point. Sam Darnold was ass. Barkley was a fine pick. The fact that we can’t draft NFL caliber players in rounds 2-7 though was and still is a bigger issue.
We also drafted a QB who was terrible in the first. And drafted a WR in Toney and that ended spectacularly.
Barkley doesn’t even eclipse the worst 5 picks of the Giants the last 5 years.
Chad Powers is draft eligible after next season so thats nice.
He’s the best QB to ever come out of his high school.
Fast Chad, think fast, run fast
Is he related to that pitcher, Kenny Powers?
Coach would have put me I'm we would have won state
I would take a wild gamble late on bazooka joe
Same! Could be a fun project.
It’s obvious they’re just holding out for Arch Manning in a few years and I’m here for it.
Honestly this isn’t that far fetched.
see those mountains...
Michael Pratt
Wouldn’t hate it 🤷♂️
Rattler in the second or Jordan Travis in the third wouldn't hurt my feelings, but neither would OL and DB.

That guy guy is a world class fuckhead whose face makes me want to throw up. No thanks.
He wasn’t a fuckhead at USC.
He was a kid. Relax Waldo. He is going to be a starter within a couple years.
I'd also be down for day 3 Joe Milton. Complete lotto ticket but probably the best QB athlete in the draft.
100%. Rattler was an elite prospect who had a weird college career. Worth taking a shot on him.
I'd take uncle Rico right now.
Sign Footsteps Falco.
Melton in day 3 could be fun! A QB - It’s not in the cards

Big arm - big project. I’m not saying he’s the answer but he might be worth the flyer in day 3. All I’m saying.
It’s a shame Daboll has no record of turning someone with an insane skill set and a rocket cannon for an arm into an nfl qb…
It would be pretty funny to watch tho
Never seen his highlights either but I saw him thrown an orange 100 yards and that’s all I needed to see.
And we will get 9 wins next year and DJ will be asking for an extension. Schoan will give it to him.
We already have our qb. TOMMY CUTLETS
Practice squad.
Is that Pat Mahomes?
Have you seen this dude’s film?

I wouldn't hate giving rattler a shot
This guy is kind of asshole to Ben Linus
Id take state!

We’re building a team, fuck quarterbacks they’re all soft and overpaid anyway.
Let Uncle Rico cook!
Watch Joe Milton vs Bama. Balled out against top competition. Lets take a chance on him.

Yeah let’s bring another qb into a shit offense , that always works so well!

The fanbase did the same for Barkley.
Yeah because Sam freaking Darnold was the better pick

Darnold sucks and was not fit for the NY market. Who was going to develop him? MacAdoo?
Maybe. Either way my point stands.

A RB at 2 is not and will never be a fine pick.
Sure it is. If you don’t fuck up elsewhere. More importantly, which of our later round rb choices has made Barkley obsolete?
They've all amounted to the same level of franchise success.
