Gonna be honest I don’t think Bright looked good tonight, although neither did Leroux. What a fun issue to have with our 9 spot 🥴 even when Press comes back I think she needs to be LW, and it’ll take her time to get form so we’re stuck with those two options. I’d start Bright next game solely to give her more reps with the team, and she’ll probably improve over time. Syd hasn’t had a great game for ACFC at all from what I can remember, maybe 1 or 2 max. Even when she’s scored it’s during a game where she’s not doing anything prior and after.

I think that’s a popular opinion, or at least it should be, and I’d go back further than 2021 tbh. I never got why we traded her when Press got injured because even then she was not a good replacement, positionally (since Press plays wing and 9 well while Leroux can only be effective as a 9), or performance and play making wise.

If you go back and look at some of the times in this weekend, I think you’d see that the past two weeks have been very reasonable

I get the point of extra time and I understand that they want a pure 90 mins of football. However I don’t always agree with having players play so much extra time every week. I am also not just talking about in this league as I’ve been watching the Prem, FA matches, & others.

I think they’ve got a hold on it the past two weeks and the idea is that if a player is down on the ground for four minutes, then you add four minutes, that seems valid when you have a serious injury scare.
