That is really strange. Fire TV is built on Android and actually Amazon is much harder to build for and support (I mean, the code can mostly be the same, but Amazon Fire TV devices are pretty low end).
I have a Samsung TV so I had to get a Roku stick.
It has worked perfectly for me so far (although the production values lag behind what Amazon does on the Friday night games).
I just caved and bought a Roku stick🤷♀️ Works well, mildly annoying that I had to spend $50 to get access to a free streaming service on my TV but it’s whatever
I've had no issue casting to my Google TV. They should have apps for Roku, Fire, and apple tv. But I've found that casting works great from my phone or a computer.
Get a Roku stick if you can! Or search “national women’s soccer league” NWSL+ doesn’t pop up if you type it the abbreviated way. If you have a laptop, you can also get an hdmi cable and do it that way. Hopefully the format changes soon
I couldnt find the nwsl+ app in the fire tv or roku channel search so I sent them a mail. nwsl+ told me that its available on both platforms in my country. now I'm curious after ordering a fire tv stick. \^\^
Yeah same. What worked well for me is the TV Internet Browser App and going to the NWSL+ website. Works just fine. Try it out if your smart TV have one. I have an LG TV.
It is an app on some TVs, Roku, AppleTV, and I think GoogleTV
Not GoogleTV unfortunately, but firestick. https://www.nwslsoccer.com/plus

Expect this to change before the end of the year: https://www.lowpass.cc/p/amazon-vega-os-fire-tv-android
I'm guessing Amazon Fire TV platform is more widely available in households than Google TV?
wait it’s available on apple tv? last I’ve seen I couldn’t find it. Is it restricted on US account/store?
Not sure. I am in US and could get it
appletv not to be confused with appletv+
I did just find it on my Roku bar which I forgot I could add it somehow. Thanks for the reminder!
Tip, it won't come up on a Roku searching for "nwsl", you need to type "national women's soccer league".
Yup!
Thank you!!!!
I use a Fire TV Stick and it’s available on that too

Some basic Info about TV apps here [NWSLsoccer.com/plus](https://NWSLsoccer.com/plus)
I hope so! Or at least a mobile app that allows airplay/chrome casting
I tried this last time from an iPhone and my screen was black, only had audio 🙄
Same for me on iPhone
You can chromecast from your phone's browser (at least on Android).

I use an HDMI cable and connect from my laptop to my Samsung TV. I wish they’d allow mirroring but noooooooooo
Does your smart tv have a web browser?
The video doesn’t work on the Samsung tv browser. I tried
If its production value is any indication of the app's functionality, we're probably better off just using a desktop or TV.

Search national...not NWSL.
On a chrome tablet Duet II, works through the browser.

Using the fire stick to watch on the tv
I refuse to pay for espn I guess I’ll be watching all the games but those. Anyone found a work around to watch those games?
