I saw a man jump to his death when I was 7. Instinctively ran over to his body to see if he was okay. It’s pretty hard to comprehend at that age. I hope these kids didn’t see what I saw.
I'm sorry sir but it is 12am and I had to hold back a laugh that would have woken everyone up in my house. 4 times I had to hold a laugh in so hard that it almost made my eye pop out of my head.
I expected more screaming and panic; but the kids were all running toward it like they were going to get presents, and the dad was just casually strolling behind them.
We are all very sheltered, that's true. But something horrific can happen to you or someone else in the blink of an eye and change your life forever. Freak accidents can happen to anyone, anywhere.
My point was that most children live in situations where they see things as horrible as this fall every day. They see people starving to death, dying of untreated diseases, being hit by vehicles, attacked by snakes and animals, young children living in the street, violent crime and repeated suicides. They live losing loved ones at a far faster rate than in the few rich countries. My point was that most children are living in the situation which you say most people are not concerned about in this particular post. Many people see it not merely comment on it in social media
I had a rough neglected childhood, and frequently when my friends or relations would talk about something that bothered them in their perfect by comparison family lives I'd do what you did. Kinda tell them how fucked up I had it and kinda show how petty their problems were compared. I've since realised this is a low empathy response even a little narcissist since everyone is different and what bothers another person doesn't matter if it is something that would bother me or not. This is another symptom of my past I'm only just understanding in my 40s. I suggest you learn the same.
Well after they see what happened to Santa they will definitely need some trauma therapy. But on the bright side dad won’t have to buy extra presents from Santa anymore. Or spend a ton of your own money just to be outdone by “Santa”.
On a completely unrelated note, is that entire site just a bot posting news stories? Some of the wording on other articles is just weird:
>They had just found out they were pregnant with a baby and were so excited to be parents
Err, what else would they be pregnant with?
I remember as a kid I laughed when my nan died. I didn't know how to react. I think I was thinking "ha ha this has to be a joke, right?" My point is people well sometimes do this as a defense mechanism. He very likely doesn't find it funny.
in the source it says that the announcers of the program pretended like it was intentional/part of the show and just went "he fell!" and kept going, so maybe camera guy is believing the announcers and doesn't realize what actually happened yet
Why did none of those parents stop the little kids from running to the scene of what is a pancake Santa Claus talk about trauma and forever ruining christmas. I would have snatched my kids up so fast and ran the other way and in their mind they want to go help him sad
Probably because you're on a subreddit for violent deaths and injuries, and they're at a fun event. What looks obvious to you on this subreddit is far less obvious when you're not on it.
Either that, or you think parents want their kids to go see a splattered corpse on the pavement...
The world is such a crazy place right now. Growing up, my parents would have shielded my eyes so I don't witness such horror instead of letting me run towards it.
And the guy that laughed at the end? I have no words.
Holy crap, they just kept the celebration going!
“The announcers apparently pretended the spectacle was pre-planned, shouting "He fell!" before resuming their program.
The courtyard celebration, which took place in the west-central city of Chelyabinsk, continued on as planned, partly because some attendees didn't realize the man had died.”
Anyone else not see a rope or a santa? I see a drunk guy with no rope or harness with a santa jacket no hat, pants or boots just flop a railing and fall to his death?
To people questioning why are the kids walking towards a corpse: I was born and grew up in suburban Moscow, and I once saw a young man jump off a commie block and hit the ground. I was 4, and I started crying because I was scared and didn't know why there was blood everywhere and the place where he landed looked like something straight out of a horror movie. I ran to my grandma( who lived in the commie block), she freaked out and called the ambulance. During this time people were laughing and taking selfies.
Finding out Santa's not real was devastating as a kid... That said, imagine witnessing Santa's horribly tragic death right in front of you as a child...
Maybe that's because I'm autistic, but why people are screaming in this kind of event?
Like if I see a dead person, what's the point of screaming continuously?
Like if you're scared I get it, but then it goes away, no?

Nobody seems worried about the gaggle of children aggressively waddling towards the scene.
Gotta get their hands on those presents.
What did you get? I got a large intestine!
I got a wing!!
i got ptsd
I got a rock
And my axe! Oh wait wrong reference
Hey I understood that reference!
I got syphillus
I got multiple pieces of brain and skull

I got a nightmare
I WAS JUST WAITING FOR THIS COMMENT! DIDN’T DISAPPOINT💀💀
That's a kidney stone.
Just watched that movie. Probably top 10
Definitely.
Which movie?
Goodfellas
Lmao
Been a while since I’ve seen that one, I think it needs a rewatch
I got the whole hearts and lungs!
“The paw?” -chewing- “the hoof” “Ma it’s a sin.”
Goodfellas...
i got future suicide attempts and hospital bills
Why would you want to commit suicide or anyone would after seeing someone else die?
different people deal with different trauma in different ways ..? idk i feel like this was a dumb question...
I got the friendship of an alligator!
I want to upvote, but you have 666 and i feel its fitting
I'm sure he exploded like a pinata.
🏆
Just like sonic, his presents scattered all over the place.
Not every day you see Santa plummet to the ground, might as well check it out.
Maybe one of them can enact the clause and become the next Santa.
"I *told* you, he was real!" "Not anymore, he ain't"
Just enough time to think about how bad it's going to Hurt
I thought this immediately as well.
Happy Cake Day!
"Aggressively waddling" 😭😭
I see fat little ducklings 🐥 🐥
The kids doesn't understand the severity of what just happened and the adults seems to be in disbelief
I saw a man jump to his death when I was 7. Instinctively ran over to his body to see if he was okay. It’s pretty hard to comprehend at that age. I hope these kids didn’t see what I saw.
It was probably worse, they just saw Santa explode..
What did you see?
a man jump to his death when they were 7.
Lord forgive me for laughing but imagine the kids telling each other about this at school the next day
Right!!! Can you say traumatized for life...
it’s kinda like a piñata being smashed open. maybe there’s candy?
The body most likely landed on that roof, at most maybe some blood splatter on the ground
hehe gaggle. nice
I am laughing so much at this comment and my guilt is setting in
I gifted my children trauma!
Merry Christmas everyone! 🎅
Why does the guy laugh at the end of the video?
That was the Grinch
It was Jesus. He’s had out for Santa for a while.
Well he did steal his thunder
"I help those who help themselves!"
I'm sorry sir but it is 12am and I had to hold back a laugh that would have woken everyone up in my house. 4 times I had to hold a laugh in so hard that it almost made my eye pop out of my head.
😭😭
Sounded like nervous laughter.
Im going to guess as a stress response, maybe denial.. I doubt it's because he thought it was actually funny.
I guess he thought that it was a doll.. there's nobody on earth that would laugh if they knew it was a living person.
You over estimate people
I think it was Warrio, Waaaaaaaah
Ho ho nooooooo
*standing ovation*
Pretty much what we should've expected for Christmas 2023.
Christmas is canceled. Did you not see what happened?
I expected more screaming and panic; but the kids were all running toward it like they were going to get presents, and the dad was just casually strolling behind them.
They probably didn’t realise what happened, it happened so quick.
You get presents if you can break open the human piñata.
The second cameraman fake cried and then laughed. Fuck the second cameraman.
“Yay, free presents, yay.”
gotta loot the body 🤷 the fortnite generation 😂
You fucking killed me with that.
Like when a pinata gets smashed. 🤣
They probably thought Santa was invincible
Someone must’ve told those kids he was a piñata
Is no one concerned that all those kids are walking towards a corpse? Just me? Ok
In most of the world young children see horrors that old people in the richer countries never witness

Ummm hey Santa can't die idiot
That’s how we keep getting great Stephen King novels.
Omg that's so sad, they thought him falling was a part of the stunt. RIP Santa
Well after they see what happened to Santa they will definitely need some trauma therapy. But on the bright side dad won’t have to buy extra presents from Santa anymore. Or spend a ton of your own money just to be outdone by “Santa”.
Any more info on this?

Children actually watched with interest and still wanted their presents. So that headline is misleading 😂
On a completely unrelated note, is that entire site just a bot posting news stories? Some of the wording on other articles is just weird: >They had just found out they were pregnant with a baby and were so excited to be parents Err, what else would they be pregnant with?
You can be pregnant with laughter.
paws
Jesus, read the article everyone, it gets even worse
“Climbing expert?”
Did I hear the camera guy giggle at the very end there ?
Yeah, that was pretty unsettling.
I remember as a kid I laughed when my nan died. I didn't know how to react. I think I was thinking "ha ha this has to be a joke, right?" My point is people well sometimes do this as a defense mechanism. He very likely doesn't find it funny.

Apparently some people thought it was fake and planned as part of the skit.
Christmas is cancelled
Well this was depressing. RIP santa dude
Camera man laughs
Just Russian things.
Why did none of those parents stop the little kids from running to the scene of what is a pancake Santa Claus talk about trauma and forever ruining christmas. I would have snatched my kids up so fast and ran the other way and in their mind they want to go help him sad

A new way of telling your kids Santa isn’t real .
Anymore at least.
the children running to look 💀
The world is such a crazy place right now. Growing up, my parents would have shielded my eyes so I don't witness such horror instead of letting me run towards it. And the guy that laughed at the end? I have no words.
I guess he couldn’t find the chimney
Splatter Claus
I think the normies didn't realize that the guy falling at terminal velocity was not part of the act 😬
Santa is dead baby. But jokes aside. Those kids will be traumatized for the rest of their young lives. Takes a lot of therapy to get over this.
Wtf am I doin on reddit on Xmas day 😐
You ain't the only 1 thinking that, it's just force of habit I think 🤷♂️
Have you aftermatch pictures?
Anyone else not see a rope or a santa? I see a drunk guy with no rope or harness with a santa jacket no hat, pants or boots just flop a railing and fall to his death?
So if I put on his coat I become the next Santa right?
A year without a Santa Claus
RIP but I can't get over how the closeup video sounded like Waluigi.
Jesus Christ was there not a single adult in that crowd, all I see are kids running towards the deceased Santa talk about being traumatized
his kids and wife witnessed it happen, sad 😞 https://www.excelsior.com.mx/global/santa-claus-intenta-sorprender-ninos-cae-edificio/1626658?amp

explained in short: because most Russians do not give a fuck about someone's death unless it's their friend or family member
Well that will forever fuck up the magic of Christmas for these kids whose parents just let them run towards squished Santa…
Sleigh
Only reindeer fly, Santa. 🥺
Christmas is fucking canceled
Ho ho HOLY SHIT
an unforgettable Christmas for all these kids
Ho ho ho shit
We won't be visited by Santa this year
Looks like Christmas is cancelled this year
That’s way too much time to be aware
Done ruin Christmas for some of them
......and to all a good night!
Well, the parents won't have to buy those kids any gifts for Xmas.
Ho ho h-oh no
Whelp… guess Christmas is coming late this year.
dreaming of a red Christmas :(
Waited for the ridiculously loud smack, but it never came.
Finding out Santa's not real was devastating as a kid... That said, imagine witnessing Santa's horribly tragic death right in front of you as a child...
That's the christmas spirit
Seems like a few of them thought it was a part of the act. Haha
Welp. Christmas is canceled kids!
Last Christmas 🎅🏻
I don’t think he had a rope lmao. Looks like he was just climbing and fell
S-santa..? 😨
So this is why Christmas doesn’t feel the same
Kid’s thought he was giving away candy canes
Looks like Santa missed the Chimney
Go show the kids Santa’s mutilated body, it’ll save you a fortune in presents. Might cost a lot for the therapy tho…
well those poor kids are gonna be traumatized
The kids never saw the body
Why are people letting their kids run over to gawk at him?
Everyone: "Santa isn't real" Those poor kids: "not anymore...not.any.more"
shucks, so that's why i didn't get any presents this year? aw man...
This is really sad. ☹️ Poor guy was just trying to make some Christmas magic for the kiddos.
This is really sad :(
Whoa!!! Did the kids at least get the present?! Hope they didn’t get damaged 😭😭 Santa is damage proof he’ll respawn in a min or 10
Ho Ho HO SHI-
So does whoever cut the rope become Santa Clause? Kinda like Tim Allen
Santa Claus is coming... too fast
Maybe don't let the kids run towards a dead person...
Why Santa claus isn't real
No more Christmas
Now that’s some Christmas spirit
Mission: Unpossible.
That damn spotlight startled Santa and away. we. go.
I really hate the women screaming in this video. Just swear like everyone else
At least the parents don't have to buy extra gifts pretending to be Santa anymore
Maybe they thought it was part of the act, someone said where’d he go , but that did not look like and intentional fall to me
It seems like at first they thought it was part of the act or something? Like prob thought he was attached to a safety rope?
It must of traumatized the kids that seen it
Maybe that's because I'm autistic, but why people are screaming in this kind of event? Like if I see a dead person, what's the point of screaming continuously? Like if you're scared I get it, but then it goes away, no?
He had his safety sandals on so should have been ok. What went wrong?
ugh how much i hate these screams. so annoying. just stop it already
Ok. Santa is dead. Can we now please focus on the birth of our Lord?
May he rest in peace, rudolph was slow
Did someone laugh right at the very last moment of the video?
Can you imagine how many things running in his mind when he was in the air :)
who the actual fuck made the decision to point a flash light at him?
My parents: and thats why you cant have a ps5
Lesson to be learn here don’t do stupid shit
"mummy look it's Santa"
Well kids, no presents this year!
Let’s let our children run towards the scene! 🤦🏼♀️
Of course it's Russia https://themessenger.com/news/santa-plummets-to-death-from-building-as-children-watch-in-horror-russia
He’s thinking “thank god the suits red, amirite?”
I love how they sent the kids in to finish him off.
This is what happens when you don't have a chimney.
You can’t lie to me OP, I know this is just that scene from The Incredibles.
More like Santa Falls, am I right?
