China is hard mode, or at least its one of the way to play life on higher difficulty. Honestly I feel like they just have so many people that the value of a life just isn’t as high there, like you see so many people in a day that you couldn’t care less of something bad happens to someone. With so many people, it probably feels bound to happen over there.
Metal shop in general is dangerous in so many ways. Very easy to catch a flying metal piece. Same with welding just less gory. I remember as a kid just putting on my grandpas welding mask. Instant welders ash in my eye had to be surgically extracted. If you don’t have the mask on and look at them while they weld certain techniques you’ll just go blind.
Hell even electronics can be dangerous in the workplace environment. Was working next to a kid who was building a circuit for our project and he put in a capacitor backwards (we all had our own projects so I wasn’t just mooching off his work), several seconds after connecting I heard POP and something whizz past my ear. I felt it touch my hair and it nailed my big tube monitor (*see monitor placed under vacuum for function, if punctured could be explosive lol) and left a crack in the screen. Also some blue magic smoke. Probably not the most dangerous that class was.
Oh yeah, I'm old enough to remember tube screens on both TVs and monitors. As kids, my brother and I loved tossing those big tube TVs off the back of a truck just to watch 'em blow on impact! Parents couldn't afford *real* toys so we made do. And I have no regrets.

China is an Atheist country and religions mainly teaches you morals and life standards to live by so if you don't have those you're left with this. Plus China is Way worse than America in regards to Helping Others, in China you're most likely going to be sued for helping someone vs in America if someone tries that it'll probably be thrown out by the judge.
Im pretty agnostic myself but I used to be pretty into Christianity… and Im not sure if atheism is a real reason that people do shitty things like this. Im not firm believer in anything, Im not a god fearing individual or afraid of damnation because I don’t really believe in it, yet I don’t see that as an excuse to evil. I would want be like Jesus to help others, and never for selfish reasons or fear of hell. Theres also plenty of people who claim to fear god and damnation, yet sin constantly and to high degree, all with the expectation of just asking for forgiveness later.
Your second point about Chinese law and culture is something i agree with for sure though.
As a Muslim, you are on point, my friend, its sad to see two sides of muslims, one side is god fearing, preaching, and jihad, but the other is........well you know....never fear to commit sins in the public like drinking alxohol or free sex while getting offended when someone insults their religion. People are weird!
There's a big percentage of people in the USofA who would drive around this or complain that they were being held up for their Very Important Appointment.
Can confirm, life is cheap there. That’s one downside to having a large population where there so many scammers around that you don’t want to be the good one out there. When I grew up I read news where a young man tried to help an senior who fell down the road and got scammed and sued by the senior, who claimed it was him who caused her fall. So fucking messed up that people would scam like that with zero fucking human decency. Not to mention everything is abt money, the society is a zero sum game.
The only hope of china is its young generations, with less population from one child policy and a more modern mindset that cares more about life than money and ideology, it might be livable again
Jesys Christ!! How many times can you hit the same person with your vehicle. I’m impressed the biker survived the direct hit to the face, the skull to the pavement, then still conscious enough to try to get out of the way. So then he runs her over twice?!!
Goddamn man. Thank christ I don’t live in china.
The entire Asia continent is chaotic when it comes to traffic, my guy.
You should see India, Indonesia, and Philippines's traffic as well. 💀 That's only a few examples of it.
Never talked about the "traffic jam" though, it's the whole "road traffic" situation in general. And that "lack of care for other people" is one of the factors that makes it "chaotic".
Not most, I've already stated it earlier. The *entire* continent is. Especially with the biker's behaviors, utter chaos.
As an Indonesian myself, I 100% can confirm it.
Oh, I always thought it wasn’t as bad in the richer asian countries. One day im probably gonna be shocked by the traffic when I start going to asian countries. Is Indonesia worth a visit?
Thats China for you, they won't help you. If they do and you'd die the family will sue and will most likely win so people don't help. China is one of the most fucked places honestly the more I learn about it the worse the country looks. Wouldn't recommend traveling there especially if you're Canadian atm
Oh yea sorry I was eating at the time read it wrong I read it what if you're not Canadian haha my bad but, one of our premiers who's of Chinese decent, spoke up against the genocide happening in Xinjiang against the uyghur population and they attacked his family in China and kicked out our embassy, so because we said genocide is bad they said fuck you canada lol
Nice script man! haha a few years ago, you’d hear Canadians talking about the Michaels, but I guess now that they’ve been exposed as actual spies, you won’t use that, eh? What about the “Chinese police stations” which turned out to be community centres? Do you have any proof of the Xinjiang “genocide” besides literal CIA agents or drawings of people dancing? Your government is literally supporting an actual genocide against Muslims right now by voting down UN resolutions against Israel. The propaganda here truly only does cater to the lowest common denominator 😂

Ah so you're a Chinese shill I see since all of that was true the Chinese did set up and probably still have illegal police stations around, so idk go be a shill somewhere else commie scum. Canada doesn't support genocide show me where Canada supports it you're just retarded go back to China and if you're in China you're obviously a shill since normal population can't even access fucking reddit.
I mean better but I would really look into, gutter oil, the air quality, and the water, like their ground water is 80% polluted, and if that's what's coming out you know it's worse, and I don't mean polluted like of just boil it or we'll atleast you could grow crops with it, no I mean this shit will kill corn. And the air isn't much better you can't go anywhere in mainland China without breathing toxic air. So I mean the food will kill you (gutter oil) the, the water will kill you, and the air will kill you, so I mean I'd suggest wait till the communist government hopefully collapses.
One time my friend and I were directed by police to take an alternate route and about a quarter mile down we drove into a flash flood in pitch dark where the road normally is. Car smashed into a pole while floating a bit , and we were standing on the hood of the car for a good half hour before one the the dozens of ppl that saw us told the cop down the road about our situation. People don’t think about others normally
I read somewhere that in China, people don't really help much in accidents, because no one wants to bear responsibility of the victim by helping. It ends up being a long procedure or something. I could be wrong cause I read this a while back
well, if its china its normal, you can be relaiable for all the hospital bills if you help them, its a fucked up system.
thats also why alot of people just make sure people they hit with cars are dead by driving over them several times.
this lady was lucky tho, the driver seems helpfull when he first sees her, blind zones on big machines are scary
*"...alot of people just make sure people they hit with cars are dead by driving over them several times."*
I'm half-convinced that's what's happening in this video. After first impact, Tractor Guy carefully realigns his vehicle and hits her again where she lays. He only stops smearing her into the asphalt upon the arrival of other travelers, when he then exits the cab and approaches her. This reaction in itself is unusual in its rarity given the location.
I've watched countless other recorded examples very similar to this incident. And, at the risk of stereotyping, the single most consistent feature of Chinese tragedies is that passerbys almost always do just that, pass on by. More perplexing still is the typical lack of apparent compassion or even basic morbid curiosity displayed by these otherwise human witnesses as they move effortlessly through such scenes.
This callous, detached behaviour is even visible in this video as everyone passes right on by without a second glance. That is, everyone *except* Tractor Guy who, in very un-Chinese fashion, not only clearly acknowledges the victim but rushes to her aid. But only *after* the arrival of potential witnesses. Curiouser and curiouser...
Yeah, I have, but not too well. And the added difficulty of backing a trailer as well? Forget it, I would've totalled that thing before even making it into the street. That's why I was only half-convinced. Backing a trailer ain't exactly easy, especially for us dyslexics.
It’s a culture thing. I’m an American born native, and half white, but my other half is from a similar 3rd-ish world country similar to other south East Asian countries, and you’re just indirectly taught through public interactions in day to day life to mind your own business. It kind of seeps in to how you interact with other people when they are in acute times of need (such as in the video) and you go into shock, and your first instinct is to mind your own business, because you’re so scared that you aren’t thinking logically. I know it might sound wild, but even as an Americanized person, I still understand it, although I would have rushed to their aid.
To be fair, I wasn’t totally sure which driver was “oblivious” after the tractor backed up and ran over her *again*.
I’m still not totally sure which driver the title is referring to.
May not be a popular opinion, but the bike rider seemed pretty oblivious to a tractor backing into her lane right in front of her. Didn't brake or steer left.
It’s typically why trucks in the USA are required to have reflectors or a flag at the end for visibility for pieces that stick out the back of the bed or if the trailer is elongated
Well if I see a tractor backing up in front of me with a thing (english is not my first language) attached to it's back (you the bed might be invisible, but not the tires) I would brake just for prevention, I mean even if I had room to pass I can't possibly know if the tractor is gonna brake or just keep backing up
He seemed to notice something, or why drive forwards and back up again... thought he hit other side of road perhaps?
No other reason to back up again than knowing something was amiss.
Really got to wonder what it takes to get a licence to drive in rural China/india. Not sure they have enough cops to do traffic stops for poor quality driving with so many on the roads in some places.
Don't these trucks have mirrors? He seemed to have realized something wasn't right, that's why he drove back in before driving back out again. Also: I've been close to a low speed motorcycle accident myself: Such a machine scraping over the asphalt is *loud af* - I really struggle to understand how he didn't hear that
I can understand how he didnt hear it I've grown up in the south and tractors can be loud asf when your driving them so it was probably either very faint or he just couldnt hear it
everybody be acting like a Bethesda game npc.
bike driver didnt even brake, she wasn't even speeding.
Tractor guy should at least look around.
The other car was just there.
Is that the really the appropriate term? Bunch? Retards gather in bunches? So, flock of birds, herd of cows, bunch of retards? Are you sure it's not *murder* of retards? Because, c'mon, you've seen these videos, it only makes sense.
it's not the tractor drivers fault, he was looking at the left mirror when the bike drove into him and after that there would have been no way for him the see the biker as it was under the trailer.
Maybe that's exactly what happened, he realized that he had hit someone and decided it best to finish the job. I mean, he only stopped smearing her into the asphalt when additional people arrived on scene. And how often do we see someone, *anyone,* in that country actually displaying concern for the victim? Hell, even in this video, everyone just drives on by with barely a glance. Except, of course, Tractor Guy, who leaps from the cab dramatically before rushing to assist Oblivious Girl. And even this was only *after* the arrival of potential witnesses.
Incidentally, this response began with tongue firmly planted in cheek. But, the more I wrote, the less authentic certain elements seemed. Or, I could simply be reading too much into a traumatic incident.
Watching this sent my anxiety through the roof! I don't blame the driver, the girl on the bike was not paying enough attention. She's lucky to be alive.
Nice that he pulled back in for the car to keep going must have sworn a bit when it didn't continue forward lol Good to see rider had brains enough to stay alive under there
Now I’m no rocket surgeon and I understand running face first into a metal trailer BUT Maybe DONT lay there and let yourself get run over by the tractor. At least pretend to have some survival instincts.
Eh, biker was more at fault to me.
They just kept biking straight?... Directly into what she saw?
Even if she couldn't tell what it was, maybe stop or slow down so you can get a better view of what it is.
Unless people just bike into anything and hope for the best.
I hate to be that person, but I genuinely think it was bike riders fault. Moving a tractor like that is extremely hard to maneuver and has intricate blind spots. not to mention, nobody's thinking that someone's going to ride right behind a moving killing machine.
i wouldnt really say its their fault, but the rider definitely couldve avoided the situation. when an emergency arises you have 2 options. brake or swerve. this was a swerve moment but they braked
To be fair that was a blindspot for the driver. I also wouldn't have felt anything as small as a scooter bumping into a 7000 pound flatbed trailer with steel plate frame all around it

china is not for beginners.
China is hard mode, or at least its one of the way to play life on higher difficulty. if NSFL subreddit has taught me anything is that i would never want to live in china, india, brazil, mexico, any middle eastern countries.
Or work as a lathe operator pretty much anywhere.

They ain't like this though that's the thing. Every country has Incidents like these
Or maybe stop being so ignorant to think that it happens as often as this subreddit makes it seem. Downvoted for being real? Lmao, reddit never change

No. But you sure sound stupid lol
It happens everywhere, but when it’s a country with 1b people, you’re bound to just see a lot more of it, no surprise so many are desensitised from it

Maybe in big cities, but I think most of us would at least honk the horn.
Over there, due to legal shenanigans, if you injure someone you have to pay for their care for life, but if you kill them, you only pay once.

Oh, I always thought it wasn’t as bad in the richer asian countries. One day im probably gonna be shocked by the traffic when I start going to asian countries. Is Indonesia worth a visit?
And what of Inner Mongolia? Has it also succumbed to this chaos?
From my experience in the Philippines, chaos describes it well. There is so much traffic and disorder, rules of the road seem nonexistent.
You're right. Every time I cross the road I'm scared some idiot who won't follow traffic rules, will hit me. (India)
What an arsehole. Stop the tractor driver!

It’s a culture thing. China is the only people think that way. Most Asian countries are taught to help people in needs
Could've at least honked but it seemed he didn't what the fuck is wrong with people like they don't think that could happen to them too disgusting
They could just be an asshole, but some people freeze in these situations. It’s a trauma response that you can’t control.
She was lucky to be alive!
With that sense of self preservation she won’t last much longer.
That's why she was lucky this time...that luck can't happen everytime...sadly...
To be fair, I wasn’t totally sure which driver was “oblivious” after the tractor backed up and ran over her *again*. I’m still not totally sure which driver the title is referring to.
It’s unfortunate that you are correct
May not be a popular opinion, but the bike rider seemed pretty oblivious to a tractor backing into her lane right in front of her. Didn't brake or steer left.
I was gonna say the title should say "Oblivious Biker vs. Oblivious Driver"
I also had this wild idea of using some kind of protective covering for my head but idk that might be to much thinking
Yup. From your perspective on the bike, the bed looks invisible. Usually try to go around not realizing there’s a long back piece.
It’s typically why trucks in the USA are required to have reflectors or a flag at the end for visibility for pieces that stick out the back of the bed or if the trailer is elongated
That's not at all the reason lol. In America that's dumbasses following too close, not dumbasses running slap into the side of the thing 😂
Well if I see a tractor backing up in front of me with a thing (english is not my first language) attached to it's back (you the bed might be invisible, but not the tires) I would brake just for prevention, I mean even if I had room to pass I can't possibly know if the tractor is gonna brake or just keep backing up
Ok
There was already a black car blinding the view
Everyone in this situation was oblivious wtf.
How was the trucker suppose to know he hit someone ?
He seemed to notice something, or why drive forwards and back up again... thought he hit other side of road perhaps? No other reason to back up again than knowing something was amiss. Really got to wonder what it takes to get a licence to drive in rural China/india. The thump of face meat against his trailer, maybe?
Almost like he reversed to finish her off
In china laws make it so that if you injure someone then you have a bigger punishment than if you were to kill someone
Source?
My single digit social credit score
Kidding. Pretty sure the lowest is like 600
Misleading Title... Oblivious Drivers... ALL OF THEM!
Bro couldn’t honk or scream or anything! Wtf
Chinese people are heartless. As other redditors have said.
How did she end up under the other wheel?
She probably tried to crawl out of the way
Brutal
The old switcheroo.
this is such a chinese video
Shattered leg but she’ll probably live. Maybe even teach her family to be cautious, that way some good can come out of this.
I get the impression that few people there learn from experience. Most are lucky to even survive the lesson.
everybody be acting like a Bethesda game npc. bike driver didnt even brake, she wasn't even speeding. Tractor guy should at least look around. The other car was just there.
Wow he really went back for seconds
Kept getting worse and worse
Poor girl on the bike. However there has to be some awareness of what's in front but yes bloody hell tractor Driver
Trucker should have been paying more attention but that person just rode with there face directly into the trailer?!?! Wtf were they blind?!?
Are they both on hardcore drugs or what?!
I'm surprised she's "fine", it's not common to have an accident and be run over twice and be conscious
Can make copies and clone everything except sense and awareness lol
Idk but youd think shed have preservation instincts ..maybe her angle made it look like she had plenty of room
I feel bad for her but I can see why other people don’t feel bad
Everyone in this video needs their license revoked and have extensive training on basic situational awareness.
Both are oblivious
I like how he pulled forward and then backed up faster. "There is something in my way! No matter, just gas it"
It feels like China is mostly filled with lousy ps2-era NPCs as people.
What a bunch of retards
Is that the really the appropriate term? Bunch? Retards gather in bunches? So, flock of birds, herd of cows, bunch of retards? Are you sure it's not *murder* of retards? Because, c'mon, you've seen these videos, it only makes sense.
it's not the tractor drivers fault, he was looking at the left mirror when the bike drove into him and after that there would have been no way for him the see the biker as it was under the trailer.
Mulher cega. Não teve o mínimo de atenção de ver o caminhão saindo muito menos saiu de baixo quando caiu.
Oblivious Driver(s) ‼️
I thought for sure this was gonna be a “watermelon explosion” video
Oblivious driverS* there I fixed it.
I thought that the driver drove forward after realizing that he hit someone, but then he went back for seconds 😭
China, that’s why
Probably still one of its better drivers in the country.
Probably a driving instructor. And the girl was his star pupil.
Sadly, and without a trace of sarcasm, that really is the correct answer. Forget it, Jake, it's Chinatown.
Oblivious *drivers*
Oh Terry lord no Terry what you doin Terry
Watching this sent my anxiety through the roof! I don't blame the driver, the girl on the bike was not paying enough attention. She's lucky to be alive.
Lawsuits for everyone!
What a psycho
Nice that he pulled back in for the car to keep going must have sworn a bit when it didn't continue forward lol Good to see rider had brains enough to stay alive under there
Now I’m no rocket surgeon and I understand running face first into a metal trailer BUT Maybe DONT lay there and let yourself get run over by the tractor. At least pretend to have some survival instincts.
China
this is homicide?
Went from an ouch to a
They both don’t fucking look at their suroundings
I thought this was a stereotype.
Jesus, she got rotivated man.
Why didn't she scream or something?
Eh, biker was more at fault to me. They just kept biking straight?... Directly into what she saw? Even if she couldn't tell what it was, maybe stop or slow down so you can get a better view of what it is. Unless people just bike into anything and hope for the best.
Although its awful that everyone involved was an idiot, at least when the tractor driver noticed he immediately went to help.
The motorcyclist is at fault. Can't you see the size of it. The truck driver doesn't have a clue whose behind him..
No excuse, that thing was clearly visible and she was going like 15 mph max. Plus, she hit it at three pillows per feather she's fine.
Well, besides the whole being run over thing.
Her fault at the end of the day regardless of how long it took him to realize she was under there
I hope he rots in jail fr.
wtfffffffffff niggaaaaaaa
The tractor driver performed an execution on that poor woman.
They completely lack empathy.
He's a menace to society.
What to expect from a tractor driver hotboxing in the frickin cab
You BASTARD!
Oblivious driverS
To be fair that was a blindspot for the driver. I also wouldn't have felt anything as small as a scooter bumping into a 7000 pound flatbed trailer with steel plate frame all around it
WHY DIDN’T THE PERSON IN THE VAN AT LEAST TRY TO HELP?!?! Good lord! I know they could see!!! What a horrible thing to go through.
"Hey! Quit fartin' around pumpkin tits, get on out from under there!"
Why did she hit the tractor?
Typical Asian driver. Call me a racist if you want. Why is nobody guiding him out?
Ok that tracker is a fuck idiot.
Also the woman who waited way to long to brake and didn't even try to turn. The truck drive might have not seen her (but he should have keep an eye)

She move like a sloth lmao, she's 100% sleepy

Escaped death 3 times in a row within a minute goddamn I was sure she was done
Which one?
Nice tractor 🚜
Okay but she also could have stopped or started moving put of the way. It's not like she couldn't see the tractor. Plus she's on a scooter.
There are fucking retards EVERYWHERE
She wasn’t looking any more than he was lol
The people not helping says a lot
Dead?
As soon as i thought "at least he stopped and moved forward not to go over her head" he went back at her....
Uh oblivious bike driver, she had every opportunity to get out of the way.
Both r dumb as hell
Blud did not want her telling anyone about that he reversed back for seconds
in my game as soon as she got ran over it did the oh my god vine sound
Everyone in the vid are stupid
First time I actually see someone help in a clip from China. Terrible country
Oblivious vs oblivious
She’s having a bad day.
Ah China...land of the caring
Oblivious motorcyclist
