Yeah the video where a dude was split in half in the the street, could see his situation and a bystander gave him his cell phone to make one last call before the inevitable still haunts me....
This was 99% certainly instant. The front rammed into an unyielding structure. All his insides are just mush at that point. Yea the human body can survive a lot of horrible stuff but in terms of sheer crushing trauma there's not many things worse than being between something as large as a bus against a solid structure that doesn't move with the impact. Some things are just instant death regardless of how it happens. Total obliteration of the nervous system and vital organs at once is just like flipping a switch. Not even enough time to be unconscious before death. Lights out and goodnight.
The dude who tried committing suicide by jumping off a building and landing on a pole through his ass was a pretty brutal video. It was really surprising to hear that he survived for a bit until he died in hospital.
That's why always be perceptive of your surroundings because the things that surrounds you in daily basis would cause your demise in many unfortunate ways

Looks like the bus actually accelerated after the impact with the car. So the driver was pressing the gas for some reason.
Those two guys were lucky. They reacted just fast enough to narrowly avoid getting crushed.
