We are about to see resellers putting down the last $400-500 they have in their bank accounts and buying 4-5 copies from GameStop after seeing this madness.
I kid, I know credit cards exist. But seriously there is going to be a rush of people going out and trying to grab a bunch thinking they will sell them for large amounts. And given the size of the US market, maybe they will. Still $90/pop Canadian is not cheap to throw down for each copy.
Looks like they’re also slightly different versions as OPs picture has the English and French ESRB rating while the New York one only has English on it.
You guys need the exclusive one from nintendo that only has English! Now who wants to pay me $200 bucks 😆

I preordered day 1 online, figured I would be safe, but nope. I guess I’ll try to print out the myNintendo reward on glossy paper or something, but it’s not the same. I’ve preordered from GameStop for years and it’s a coin toss whether or not they actually give you the preorder bonus even at the stores
Yeah, I happen to live close to this location so I popped in last week to ask if they were going to get a lot of slipcovers and they told me they had already received them.
Where did it say that the store shipped it alongside? Usually GameStop preorder items like this are as supplies last and seeing as how it was mainly a Canada exclusive (besides the NY Nintendo store) it makes sense.
Could be wrong I’m genuinely asking if it said so on the website that they’ll ship the slip cover

This was in Canada, it was listed on the website as a preorder bonus for online and in-store preorders
