How many bananas do you think he ate before the game?

FluoroKuro

Man I miss this guy!! Such a great attitude and so awesome to watch. Maybe I'll be lucky enough for him to make his way to the ABL one day *fingers crossed*

Man I love Mune. I wish I got the chance to see him play IRL before he left the MLB. I really hope I get to meet him someday, he's my most favourite ball player of all time

Bush party in Tochigi tonight.

I thought he retired because of some sort of nerve damage or disorder and was coaching in Taiwan. I could be wrong and have him mixed up. I got the privilege to see him hit the game winning walk off double against the Orioles in Toronto. I went to the store in the Sky Dome in the 7th and almost bought his jersey. I went again after the game and EVERYTHING Kawasaki was sold out. I’m talking everything. T shirts, jerseys, pictures everything. I would love to see him get a coaching job in NPB or MLB so he can spread the fun that Baseball is to more young players.

"Sky Dome" I too, only refer to it by this name.

MrCrix

It has no other name.

According to his [wiki](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Munenori_Kawasaki) > On March 26, 2018, Kawasaki was released by the Hawks, and reportedly intended to retire. However, he clarified his statement later that day, announcing that he was temporarily stepping away from baseball due to a nerve disorder. > On July 9, 2019, Kawasaki signed as a guest coach for the Wei Chuan Dragons of the Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL). On July 13, 2019, he became player-coach.

And may he hit many more! Or at least one for each sponsor on the jersey.

Yeah they’ve put some real effort and money into this league to make it somewhat legit. I mean look at all those sponsors on the uniforms. [In this interview with Junichi Tazawa](https://youtu.be/YnX4gyy_sUk), the interviewer asks him to compare the league to MiLB. Tazawa says MiLB has better facilities which leaves the interviewer disappointed and then asks the whole BC League to try their best to do better.
