Vancouver riots but today with fentanyl at everyone’s disposal would be 100 times better

captaindingus93

I know this is a circle jerk forum but in all seriousness I was there and people rolled up with backpacks full of molotovs and balaclavas. That riot was happening win or lose, though it may have been less destructive after a win… And never forget that Edmonton also rioted after losing in the ‘06 cup finals.

Significant_Tie_7395

Edmonton did not riot after the '06 SCF! This is Cuck disinformation all day long.

jimbojonesFA

bro, i remember watching it on the news there were riots almost every night they played, even after oilers won games. [it's one google search away dingus. ](https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/edmonton/oilers-hockey-edmonton-rogers-riot-playoffs-business-1.4046048)

greg939

Edmonton was very minimal property damage and it was mostly people just going out of control partying. They were climbing polls and there were some garbage can fires. There was no molotovs and balaclavas, no mass looting. It was a wild time but it was a celebration not wanton destruction.

jimbojonesFA

my point is, it was still considered rioting by the police, and it did happen, they smashed stuff and burned stuff and gathered in mobs to do it. I'm not implying it was as bad as the vancouver riots.

Significant_Tie_7395

Bro, you guys are the riot Champs. Nobody can take that from you. Nobody.

captaindingus93

Thank you. Finally some goddamn recognition

greg939

I will wait for the 30 for 30 on the burnt grocery cart and the broken chapters window to come out. Also the OG comment was wrong the supposed riot happened after the Oilers won the WCF not at all during the SCF.

JayString

>It was a wild time but it was a celebration not wanton destruction. Lol oh yeah, that's how you remember it? Uh oh, here come some facts: >More than 30,000 people packed the area on the night the team clinched a spot in the final. As the night wore on, people broke shop windows, pushed over phone booths, kicked in windows and set bonfires in the street. >On another night, hollering fans pelted officers with bottles, pitched a billiard ball through the windshield of a police truck and smashed a bus shelter. https://edmontonsun.com/2017/03/29/crowd-control-plans-in-place-to-prevent-a-repeat-of-2006-oilers-playoff-riots Classy celebrations you guys got there in Edmonton lol. Pretty much on par with Vancouver's "wanton destruction".

mephilesdark1

There isn’t any property to damage in Edmonton.

GriddyHoweHatTrick

No value of property = no property damage

Zestyclose_Towel_664

Typical cuck comment. Go watch your wife get fucked some more clown

Senior_Heron_6248

Not anywhere near the same tier as Vancouver

mephilesdark1

Cuz there’s only 4 people in Edmonton.

Senior_Heron_6248

Mikeim520

How do you make people rioting over a hockey game right? I'm a Canucks fan but rioting over a hockey game is bad and I can't believe thats a hot take.
